New Yorkers and Northeasterners in general move at a different speed than other parts of the country. People think we're rude but it's more like we've got shit to do. There's also a certain blunt honesty to it versus putting up the veneer of passive-aggressive politeness of some other parts of the country. It shows in driving. Like, NYC drivers aren't all bad, but you need a certain kind of aggressiveness to drive there. There's so many cars there that it's necessary to be kind of a dick driving at times or else you won't be able to get anywhere. As I said earlier, if you can drive in NY, you can drive anywhere Also if you're not at least a little rude in NY you won't get anywhere and get trampled over. That doesn't pick a fight, more like you know not to take shit

Do you believe J Jonah Jameson’s anti Spider-Man rhetoric that he’s a menace or do you believe he wants to actually fight crime and help people?

Do New Yorkers really hate New Jersey? We just playfully say that to distract tourists from our very real deep-seeded hatred toward people from most parts of Long Island. Everyone hates Long Islanders.

Is it never crowded?
Are there more good reasons to visit besides the ones listed here?

As a baseball I ask is there anything to mark the location of The Polo Grounds? The Polo Grounds is the location of a Housing Development. One of the Buildings have a plaque where Home Plate was.

How did you choose your various sports team fandoms? Was born into it. My dad was from the Bronx (University Heights neighborhood), so I pretty much had no choice but to be a Yankees fan lol. Same with the Giants and Knicks. My mom's side of the family is Yankees fans, too, even though they lived in Brooklyn. Brooklyn back in those days tended to be a National League town because of the Dodgers, and a lot of Dodgers fans also started rooting for the Mets.
One place where we diverged is hockey, though. He's a Rangers fan, but I decided to root for my home state team in the Devils. Also helped there was this exciting rookie goalie named Martin Brodeur that really got me into hockey. But on the basketball side of things, the Nets never had a chance to woo me away from the Knicks because Ewing got his hooks into me.

As a fellow New Yorker who spent time living in each of the four boroughs (I don't recognize Staten Island as part of NYC... playfully) list your favorite boroughs from best to worst. Avoid like the plague more, Far Rockaway or Coney Island? What borough represents boasts the best rappers? If it's not Queens, we're going to have an issue.Manhattan, Bronx, BK, Queens I'm avoiding Far Rock. They still still stab and poke and like the only place that didn't get gentrified in BK Queens has the edge on rappers No cap on any of this. My hometown is very close in name to Far Rock and I have to explain constantly that yes, you might get robbed but only after dark by dopeheads. Far Rock dudes will find you wherever and leave you on the beach.

I'm from LI but close enough to walk to Queens on the regular and have lived upstate for 4 years. Cuse is nice but I won't go on certain blocks after like 4 PM, which wouldn't happen to me in the roughest areas of Queens or Brooklyn. The people are slower but care a hell of a lot more. I used to live in Binghamton and holy shit everyone sucked. The only people I liked were the dudes in the halfway houses

I joke with some of my family all the time about the stupid shit that goes on in BK and they do the same with me about the BX but yeah Far Rock is still stuck in the 80's. They def got the worst of NY stereotypes

As a baseball I ask is there anything to mark the location of The Polo Grounds? Yes. They built a housing project on the site but there's a plaque commemorating home plate
