I have came on this forum daily since the Wrestlecrap days, I love the insight from you guys and never feel the need to post. Tonight is the exception, I feel I need to post how I feel. Today wrestling lost an angel. I am currently rewatching Brodies AEW Unrestricted podcast and crying my eyes out. With the industry we all love premature deaths unfortunately this seems like a regular occurrence but this is different. Not only did Jon have the most potential but he genuinely seems like a well loved and respected member of any locker room he was involved in, but more importantly a devoted family man. My heart breaks for his family, today we did not lose a wrestler, we lost an outstanding human being who never was able to reach his true potential. I lost a hero and an idol, not to sound macho but it takes a lot to bring a tear to my eye and right now I am bawling my eyes out. For as bad as I hurt I cannot imagine what his family is going through, I implore all of you to buy a piece of Brodies merchandise from a trust worthy source, not just to pay your respect for this icon but to help his family who may need financial support and must truly be going through hell. Today was an awful day, let us never forget what this great man did for the sport we love, but what also what we know he could of achieved. RIP Jon Huber, you were taken way before your time, thank you for your commitment, the memories and for personally being an idol to me. Being the exalted one was not a gimmick, it was his way of life. RIP Brodie, you were taken to soon but you will never be forgotten. You may not post much, but your words speak volumes my friend. Thank you for being here, don't be a stranger

I was having a good day today, and this comes a long to derail it.
I'm wondering how this will be handled on BTE, since it's all about the backstage area.

I never met or ever spoke to Brodie Lee. All I know is what I saw on TV. I saw a piece on him during a rehab stint and I can confidently say that Jon Huber was just the absolute best Dad. I hope those kids grow up to realise how much he loved them.
As a fan, the absolute coolest moments I've seen live in recent years was the Undertaker & Kane's return to face off against the Wyatt Family and when The Shield and the Wyatt Family first went face to face across the ring. Brodie/Harper/Jon was a huge part of those moments.
As I said, I never met or spoke to Jon but thanks to this crazy amazing business I know plenty who did. My thoughts are with his family, friends, peers and brothers. ❤️❤️❤️

Typing his name into Google and seeing "was" in the Wiki bio.. Just damn. "Was"..
Tell your people you love them, man. You just never know.
RIP, Jon.

I hope people don’t mind, I’m going to use this as an opportunity to put one of my favorite matches of his here. Sure, a lot of it has been marred by this sucky year but if there was a match that made people notice how good Brodie (and Claudio) at the time could be...this was it. Anyone have any others, or even BTE clips, feel free. I’m just trying to cope with this somehow. I just watched that for the first time. One of only two ever cage matches in Chikara Pro. And probably one of the best cage matches of the last 20 years.

I hope someone takes Tony Nese’s tweet and makes it a reality.
