Just to warn people, there’s an article going around from a website that really should know better with an article basically saying that AEW and Huber’s family should give the full medical history about what happened to him even though his wife said enough which is, IMO, beyond goddamn scummy. I’m not a full time mod but I’m putting it here because I’d very much would rather it not be posted here. This topic has almost gone another way a couple of times and I’d rather it not get pushed again. I was gonna say how it is a feat that no one managed to report what was going with Brodie When Khan was asked about it some time ago I think he said basically "thats between me and him to know". No wonder they didnt want it leaked anywhere. |

Just to warn people, there’s an article going around from a website that really should know better with an article basically saying that AEW and Huber’s family should give the full medical history about what happened to him even though his wife said enough which is, IMO, beyond goddamn scummy. I’m not a full time mod but I’m putting it here because I’d very much would rather it not be posted here. If it was COVID-related, we would've heard about it months ago as everyone who was exposed was self-reporting or Khan himself would've said something just because of the contagious nature of it. Unfortunately, there's way more than COVID out there that can do some serious damage to the lungs.
It's reckless speculation at best to question his wife's own account about it. There's literally no reason for her to lie about it.

Its really weird. This is hard to process for me, and I keep coming back to it. I was watching when Brian Pillman was found dead, when Owen died, and I was still following the news when Eddie and Benoit died.
But for some reason, this one is hard for me. I think it's because Jon is only a few years older than me and is such a huge family man, and with three kids of my own it really hurts to think about his children right now. This is just such a huge tragedy all around. I was a big fan of Luke Harper, actively sought out his old Brodie stuff, and that carried over to the Exalted One. But I never thought a wrestler death would ever affect me the way this is.
As an aside, it's really nice to see that despite Vince and Steph sticking to the WWE name and all that, the WWE on Fox twitter AND STEPH are full on #RIPBrodieLee. Nice to see.

I was waiting to see what his response would be. I made a joke a few weeks back when Erick announced his retirement that it was the end of the cycle of him and Brodie breaking up and getting back together. I loved their team. They just complimented each other so well. Especially during their final run together against Reigns and Bryan. Two monsters just wrecking shit. I'm sad we'll never get to see them together again. |
