Its really weird. This is hard to process for me, and I keep coming back to it. I was watching when Brian Pillman was found dead, when Owen died, and I was still following the news when Eddie and Benoit died. But for some reason, this one is hard for me. I think it's because Jon is only a few years older than me and is such a huge family man, and with three kids of my own it really hurts to think about his children right now. This is just such a huge tragedy all around. I was a big fan of Luke Harper, actively sought out his old Brodie stuff, and that carried over to the Exalted One. But I never thought a wrestler death would ever affect me the way this is. As an aside, it's really nice to see that despite Vince and Steph sticking to the WWE name and all that, the WWE on Fox twitter is full on #RIPBrodieLee. Nice to see. I agree with this, I too am finding it extremely hard to process this one. I'm not fully sure why, maybe it's the fact he only wrestled two months ago and I watched him then and he seemed extremely strong and fit and now he is dead. I just can't get my head around it. I have had to take time off work over the last few weeks as I have been dealing with some mental health issues that this awful year has brought on but I have been doing well over the last week but since I have heard this news I have been really down today, so much so that my wife even noticed. This death has hit me harder than any since Benoit. On your last point, Steph actually didn't stick to his WWE name. She had #brodielee on her tweet which really surprised me and I thought was a lovely gesture instead of using his WWE name. |

While not as disrespectful aa the.writer. Strowman posted a fan's drawing tribute but edited out Cody and the artists signature of it,for some reason,feels completely unnecessary.
I'm sure he had no ill intentions over it, not even saying Strowman is at fault,but whoever edited it without the consent of the artistits is kinda disrespectful.

Brodie’s death popped up in an unexpected place for me. A friend of mine does improv stand up in the Detroit area and posted about his death, with a picture of him. I don’t know if it is common knowledge but apparently he did improv!
I’m not surprised, his comic timing was great on BTE.
And it hurts so much to say “was”. Around the holidays too. Ugh, his poor family.

I just hope that slimeball column is the only case of someone doing goblin stuff with Brodie's memory, and that he's otherwise allowed to rest without people doing dumb shit on his name. I mean, damn, the body isn't even cold yet and this guy writes an article like that? He tried to create a fuss about the name of Keith Lee's finsiher and tried to claim Brock only threw minorities out of the Rumble this year (minorities like Morrison/Elias/Rowan etc) he's gone of the deep end a long time ago |
