He was one of the guys I got to shake hands with at my only WrestleMania. While I was in the line, Harper in full swamp Wyatt gear and look loudly let everyone know that if anyone would bring him a Starbucks he would love them forever. That brief moment always made me smile thinking of this monster looking man and character asking for Starbucks in return for his love. <3
RIP again. I can’t believe this.

Sad day for all of the wrestling world, he worked a lot of places and made friends. Waiting on WWE's official statement, have they said anything yet? Nothing official, some (like Stephanie) have said things on a personal level but the WWE itself has not put out a RIP thing. My guess it's more that it's 8:30pm the day after Christmas and no one is working Yeah, AEW was likely tipped off that his passing maybe be imminent so they could get something ready, but WWE probably wasn't.

Yeah and the WWE Fox account put one out too

I have to watch his AEW work, but one of the few bright spots of SDL in 2017 was Luke Harper working with AJ, Orton, and Bray and getting over before they pulled the rug out from under him. Such an awesome talent.

Brodie Lee and the Dark Order taking the TNT title and destroying the Nightmare Family is still my favorite ending to any Dynamite.

Yeah and the WWE Fox account put one out too WWE on BT (the UK broadcaster) did one minutes ago. I’m not going to rag on the company for not getting something out right away but the fact stuff like that came out now, again, shows how much he meant to people.

I am absolutely shocked beyond words.
What a huge loss this is to the wrestling world.

I don't know when the next AEW live show is, but they have to pump the brakes on any angles and make it a tribute show. Give everyone a chance to breathe and mourn their friend in their own way. Not only should they push New Years Smash back a week, they should make this show be a show where Dark Order and Hangman win a match and finally get together, marking a new trajectory for the group and Hangman as a whole.

So, this happened off camera recently. f***... Yeah, you look at this news with a bit different lens, now knowing that they were probably distracting the kid as his family may have been figuring out what was happening.

Holy F***. I usually don't come into the AEW section but the entire time he was on the WWE main roster I was a huge fan. Even though I'm not an AEW follower I was very happy he was being used as a great worker as the man deserved.
I don't usually get broken up over celeb deaths but this time I am huge. Man F*** you 2020.

So, this happened off camera recently. f***... If they ever release this footage I don't know if I could watch. This footage will be something his family will cherish for the rest of their lives. Can't say I was ever his biggest fan but I had been paying more attention to him since he joined AEW. This is shocking and I pray for his family.

Can't really do both in trying to make a tribute show also an angle Whatever they have planned for Dark Order can wait but if you going to do a tribute show, do it properly

WWE’s put something on the website, for the record.
Doesn’t feel right to put it up since I don’t want it interpreted in a different way but considering the mixed history with reacting to deaths, wanted to at least say they did to calm anything.

Can't really do both in trying to make a tribute show also an angle Whatever they have planned for Dark Order can wait but if you going to do a tribute show, do it properly I figure they will probably stick with the planned Omega vs. Fenix match as the main, but the rest of the show might get retooled. This is uncharted territory for AEW, as this has never happened before.
