Why do we ever give this company the benefit of the doubt? Because we wait for the day of when they burn someone alive, they’re actually burned alive? At least have Orton have burnt pigtails on his head for a week, goddamnit!

WWE are so desperate for ratings they're trying the soap opera TUNE IN NEXT WEEK approach to try and get fans interested Problem is, I almost guarantee you RAW opens up completely normal next week and doesn't immediately follow up on this, and even if they do, you know it isn't gonna be interesting. WHY DO YOU ALL THINK I MAKE POSTS LIKE THIS? I hope you all don't think think I'm just trying to be cynical for the sake of it. Lmfao I don't like being right about WWE being a shit company that is inept at booking stuff week to week, but here we are... what a shitshow. The fact Alexa and The Fiend weren't even on the show tonight and the resolution amounted to Orton just saying backstage "Oh I didn't do it", just... I get why people wanna try and give them the benefit of the doubt sometimes, but they don't deserve it from you.

I mean, when they inevitably repackage Bliss again and they'd have had to figure out how to work around the all-over bodysuit she has to wear now to cover all the kayfabe burns, that should've been their bridge to cross when they got to it. Instead it just becomes yet another story plot they don't pay off, and now it becomes just that extra bit harder for people to buy into the next one, or the one after that, and so on.
You can only cry "WOLF" so many times before the villagers stop caring.

And with a rival league breathing down their neck that's actually giving people proper storyline payoffs, WWE's continued "whatever the f***" approach just won't work anymore.

Doesn't really help that they didn't at all really see the, "Orton might be feeling more conflicted, wants to take out frustration on the legends," plot through either. He just went and yelled at Big Show and Mark Henry then beat the shit out of Jeff Hardy and that was the end of his role for the night.

Gotta admit I was guilty of thinking you were being cynical for the sake of it last week but sadly it turned out you were right to be sceptical about a follow-through. I'm annoyed at the lack of follow-through but mostly at myself for giving them the benefit of the doubt.

This probably fits better here than in the Carlito thread (and I spent too long making it just to use it once lol)

More like Monday Night Cooked. Well done. Bray has talked to the dead, does that make him a medium?

Next week, they open up the show and the ring is still on fire. "Did no one think to put this out?" Are they still in the performance center, or are they moving the fire?

I don't consider myself to be that negative, but stuff like this is why I completely understand people not giving WWE (or at least Raw) the benefit of the doubt.

Like, I've learned to "accept" it, I guess, but it feels emblematic of a larger problem. If you're not going to pay off the small things you set up most of the time, why should people have confidence in you paying off bigger stuff in the long run? It doesn't make me care about anything they do.

I actually did like how The Fiend had the opposite effect on Randy since he was already evil.

Alexa should wrestle more when this character is intact. Hopefully it never ends and she wins Royal Rumble! If not Shotzi.> Glad she still has her pigtails. Maybe let The Fiend handle Randalpf from now on and continue on to bigger things.

So, did he give Alexa a suit to wear, then burn her bootyshorts to absorb her powers?

Bray has talked to the dead, does that make him a medium? If he is, that's rare.

Randy Orton setting people on fire has only made me long for the days of Kane setting “JR” ablaze Wish we got a JR's BBQ joke out of it.
