You know. Come to think of it it's probably easier to list the ones that should be watched only in case of a want of DEEP HURTING. The worst episodes I can think of off the top of my head are Castle of Fu Manchu, Mad Monster, The Brute Man, and King Dinosaur.
I have heard some people complain about the Hamlet episode... But I personally think that one is brilliant and on a must watch list (But not a person new to MST3K list, if that makes any sense).

If you can find a copy, Godzilla vs Megalon is also worth a watch.

Of the Netflix era, I definitely recommend Cry Wilderness and Mac & Me.

PUUUUUUUUMAAAAAAAA MAAAAAAAAN He flies like a moron! I'm constantly quoting, "Certainly, this is a victory for good!" Puma Man has got to be one of the more underrated episodes. "The world's most persistent belt salesman." "We're gonna sell a lot of these!" "I didnt separate my recycling, I'm going to hypnotize the trash man."

So I had never watched MST3K before. I’d seen bits & pieces, but it never looked all that interesting to me. But over Christmas, I decided to watch their episode with ‘Santa Claus Conquers the Martians’ (I’ve been binging on a ton of Christmas movies & shows this holiday season), and I found it to be pretty amusing. I’ve checked out a little more of MST3K since then and am getting a kick out of it. Their 24/7 channel has become one of my regular stops on Pluto TV. So, a question for the MST3K fans (I know we have a few here)... As a new fan, what are some of the essential best episodes that I should seek out? First off, welcome! Second, I actually recommend The Movie as an entry level for the show, plus This Island Earth is fun. My personal picks for the best of the best are as follows: Mitchell The Beginning of the End Zombie Nightmare The Thing That Couldn’t Die The Final Sacrifice Track of the Moon Beast
