Jobbers Mark Starr and Frankie Lancaster having a mini-feud on WCW Worldwide. Sounds like something I'd do in EWR, honestly...lol. I swear I read this in a WWF Magazine. Predictably, it was around the time Voldemort started writing for them. I make it a habit on EWR to push jobbers. Sometimes it works out great, I got Tent Beretta over as a main eventer from 25 OVR all the way to 100. Other times, I've had people quit on me. Like one time I tried to push Curt Hawkins and Randy Orton, John Cena and CM Punk all sat out thier contacts.

So, I didn't exactly remember this lol but I've been on a WCW kick recently. I'm watching the November 18th, 1996 episode right now. It opened with Hall and Nash standing in the ring, holding chairs, The Nasty Boys and High Voltage laid out. They end up brawling with The Faces of Fear, then when they came back from a commercial break, Tony Schiavone walked off the set, because he didn't feel safe, leaving Larry Zbyzsko to call the show alone until Mike Tenay came out. I never even knew this happened lol I remembered Bobby Heenan walking off of Nitro the night of the backstage attack (when Rey Mysterio got lawn darted), but the only time I ever remembered Tony walking out was after Fall Brawl 1997. Might as well add a few as I watch lol Juventud Guerrera seemed to be the designated jobber of WCW in late 1996. The last three episodes I've seen, he lost a TV Title to match to Lord Steven Regal, then back to back weeks against newcomers Miguel Perez and La Parka. Bobby Heenan picked Dean Malenko, of all people, to win the World War 3 battle royal. They ended the previous episode of Nitro by showing Roddy Piper's music video from 1992, "I'm Your Man" and trying to imply that Piper had been wanting to fight Hogan since 1992. They seemed to be teasing an alliance between The Nasty Boys and the former Booty Man? During a match, they showed Knobbs and Sags trying to get in the building but being turned away. Outside the building, The Booty Man was just standing there and he started talking to The Nasties, but we couldn't hear what they were saying. Dean Malenko was pushed hard by WCW as being the P4P best on the roster. I think this was the same year he was number 1 in the PWI 500? Dean was definitely a Smark favorite back then.

In 2004, during Akio matches, the announcers claims that Akio is a big movie star in Asia
In 2005 or 2006, a match between Charlie Haas and Paul London which was very very boring, but the crowd doesn't react at all, no boos, no chants, no cheers, they are just sitting around looking on their phones as if they are waiting for something. Does anyone remember this match?

I remember Paul London in a weird fur coat and tassled boots... a look which almost got an action figure.
After he lost his match he got on the mic and started talking about losing the cruiserweight title and how it was a conspiracy or something and he was going to march to Titan towers to figure out what's going on...
and... I think the next time we see him he's in hte Hooligan gear with Kendrick.

I forgot A-Train and Chuck Palumbo went to Raw back in 2004. They were rarely used, I even forgot Palumbo was gonna do a gimmick called Custom Chucky P. Could A-Train have worked as a monster heel in 2004? I mean without Lesnar, Goldberg, Steiner, and Matt Morgan sent back to developmental, could A-Train have filled that void?

Prince Iaukea's out of nowhere push. One week he's a jobber the next he wins the TV Title and defends it successfully for the next 2 months then loses the title and becomes a jobber again. The dude kind of sticks out to me for some reason maybe it's the fact that he had a job with WCW for years and never seemed to get over and how he disappeared without a trace once they finally let him go.

Wasn’t he a friend of Kevin Sullivan and got pushed whenever he was lead booker? He also got an inexplicable push as Cruiserweight Champion during the inter-Russo era in early 2000. Granted, half the upper and midcard had just quit or were sitting out at the time, but Prince Iaukea was never the answer.

His TV title win came 4 days after Rocky Maivia won the IC title. I'm totally sure that was a coincidence

I remember during the DX reunion in 2006, Shawn and Hunter rammed Coach through a wall(knocking him unconscious) and then pulled down his pants and spray painted DX on his bare ass. I know i'm not making this up.

And to add to it, on an episode of Velocity during the summer of 2005, London still teasing a heel turn wrestles Kendrick and after the match gets on the mic and says that even his best friend is cheating him now and it's all a part of the conspiracy against him. I don't recall seeing either of them again until early 2006 on SD as a proper team. On a side note I think that was Kendrick's first match back in WWE in a year or two.

He was sorta over with the Biker gimmick. But they did the double turn with Jamie Noble, which worked and had him getting heat. Then... Nothing happened.

Yeah the most over Chuck ever was in WWE outside of Billy and Chuck I guess was his double turn feud with Jamie Noble where they tried to imply he was like physically abusing Michelle McCool and Jamie Noble was supposed to be the knight in shining armor lol it was decently over for a midcard feud on Smackdown

I never hear people talk about Rhyno goring Chris Jericho through the Smackdown set. That was a cool visual.

It was also in the SD intro for years after.
