So excited for the Casino Tag Team Battle Royal. The division is so stacked it's gonna be fun to see all the different teams interact. What's really interesting is that usually the final spot in these Casino matches have a big surprise/debut attached (Page, Mercedes Martinez, Cage, Sydal) so now I'm pondering who could the big surprise team be. MCMG? Lethal & Greshem? AOP? Possibly even The Good Brothers to steal a shot at the gold. I can see Guns N Gallows doing just that

I've been digging the Saturday night PPVs; I work early on Sundays, but I can get by with a little less sleep at my second job compared with my primary one, so it's been a nice setup for me.
That said, I'm now excited about this one being on a Sunday because I remembered I took the day off from work on 3/8 so I could get my second vaccine shot. Victory all around!

What is Fenix doing on the show? Would seem crazy to leave him off the card when someone like Caster or 10 gets to be in the ladder match.

I doubt they get brought in (assuming both dudes still want to wrestle which is unclear at this point). QT told a story on a podcast about how they basically f***ed up a few guys up during NXT squashes including himself and Anthony Bowens so it seems like they may not be viewed too favorably there.

Pretty much what I was going to say, what AOP had in NXT with Paul as their manager would fit in AEW

Looks like the initial tickets sold out pretty quickly. It is only like a little over 1000 tickets but it's been a pretty tough sell the past couple of months with running the same city over and over plus the cold weather so good for them. The upcoming Shaq show isn't sold out but it has sold more tickets than the past few tapings. They did open the building to more pods for the Brodie Show and Winter is Coming after the initial on sale offer so they may do that here too (I think they reached 30% capacity for the tribute show).

ECW Arena used to hold 1000 fans, but they were stacked right next to the ring. I remember going to ECW shows and thinking how many less people it looked like in person then on TV, but it was still a good job. I mean I've been to shows with 8 people.

TV is also good at making things seem bigger than they really are. I went to see a Daily Show with Jon Stewart taping awhile ago and the studio set is so much smaller in person than it appeared on TV.

I don't see why someone would be upset if Sting pins Ricky Starks or Brian Cage. Darby Allin has already pinned Ricky Starks and Brian Cage, and it's a cinematic street fight. Why couldn't Sting win? It can still be Darby's moment without him being the one to pin two people he has already pinned.
Why are people so obsessed with veterans not being the ones to get pins in matches? When has AEW overdone this on any level? When have they sacrificed some younger wrestler to an older veteran? It's alright if Sting wins. He's popular and worked hard to come back, why shouldn't he be the one to make the pinfall? Because he's "too old"? Because Starks or Cage would be "buried" if Sting wins in a street fight?

AEW sure loves its casino-themed matches I mean. One could argue we wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for a bet. Or Tony has a gambling addiction.

AEW sure loves its casino-themed matches Casino-themed matches make sense for Double or Nothing, but not for other AEW PPVs.

I wonder if this is the time for Jericho to be removed from the Inner Circle and Wardlow to feud later in the year with IC/MJF on the run up to All Out 🤔

Any confirmation on whether the Sting match will be cinematic?
