Lots of crossovers happening this month :
AEW star Matt Hardy wrestled at AAA TripleMania. RevPro Champion Will Ospreay will wrestle at Forbidden Door. AEW star Kazarian wrestled at Impact Slammiversary.
and of course, AEW and NJPW combining to do the Forbidden Door PPV!

If I was on this show, I would be scared to death. Someone pissed off a gypsy and they put a curse on this show, apparently.

El Phantasmo has been very busy these last couple of months! He wrestled at Under Siege for Impact Wrestling, Dominion for NJPW, and now Forbidden Door for AEW!

I’m expecting Forbidden Door to be more tags/exhibition based than most, but if it ends up more than that I imagine they kinda have to start building to it soon. Point up emoji

Shida is announced for Ice Ribbon's Korakuen Hall show on July 31st. On top of her wrestling in TJPW on the 9th, it looks like her "injury" is so bad she might not be back in AEW until August unless she comes back in between for something?

Kenny Omega's Belt Collector storyline has inspired others!
FTR hold Championships in ROH, New Japan, and AAA Mexico.
Will Ospreay holds Championships in Warrior Wrestling, New Japan, and RevPro UK.
Taya Valkyrie holds Championships in MLW, Impact Wrestling. and AAA. She has also challenged AEW Women's Champion Thunder Rosa to a match.
Thank you for the inspiration, Kenny Omega!

I'm hoping Rosa vs Miyu Yamashita and Thunder Storm becoming an established team means that one day they'll face 121000000 (Miyu and Itoh).

His opponent will be NJPW star Shota Umino.

I think they really want Toni Storm again, possibly among other women.

It makes sense. With BushiRoad making a conscious effort to integrate Stardom and NJPW as true sister promotions instead of mostly treating them as separate entities, it also means more potential collaborations with their partner promotions. Only real question is where this leaves AEW's relationship with TJPW and the politics involved with potential partnerships with both. Hopefully cooler heads prevail and we won't get a "CMLL is being petty as f***" situation with either.
This isn't even just a positive for AEW. For instance seeing Stardom joshi wrestle the Impact Knockouts would be really cool.

Also if Io is gone from WWE as expected, if AEW signs her, it's incentive to have her also compete on Stardom shows as well Not even counting what it'd mean if they also got Sasha. You don't think Stardom wouldn't want her on a huge event?
