It would make sense that the reason MJF recording Sammy makes no sense is that...he wasn't. And MJF will point that out and the others will agree with him. They'll all think Sammy is losing it. It's the perfect plan.

To name MJF & Jericho the main team of the Inner Circle. P&P are still going to team, but in a situation where Inner Circle would need a marque team, it defaults to Jericho/MJF.

That's how I took it. If there is a "Who reps the group" Jericho/MJF have the right to pull rank.

But, in reality, the answer was "To have a main event to test people's reactions to a potential face Sammy."
