This is the same bullcrap booking that killed WCW. The big heel group standing tall? I mean, you have to establish them, otherwise they end up being Retribution. Nobody wants to be a Retribution. And it's not like AEW doesn't have faces be smart and also win feuds against the heels. Bullet Club will get theirs as time goes on and it'll be extra sweet for it. |

Hell, the mini angle of Chuck Taylor being Miro’s servant ended with Chuck and Orange ruining Kip and Penelope’s wedding as comeuppance. |

I don't like it when I get angry or upset watching wrestling. This is exactly the kind of ending that triggers that kind of response from me.

Yeah, one of the most persistent criticisms of Dusty's booking wasn't the false finishes or repetition, it was the Horsemen becoming ineffectual. 4 dudes beat 2. If anyone thought KENTA was going to job in establishing a relationship, while teaming with the world champion, I don't know why you'd think it. Even if this is unsanctioned and does nothing for either side's win/loss, the winner was inevitable. Archer and Moxley still come out of this looking stronger than when they went in. |
