Someone was coming out at the end. I was so convinced it was Lesnar. Corbin and Lashley looked like beasts out there. I'm just glad WWE did something with one of their current stars that was kinda shocking... kinda.

Why and how anyone can watch the current product is nothing short of a scientific anomaly.
Time and Time and Time and Time and Time and Time again they kill things people enjoy but drag out hot trash for eons that everyone hates

Remember when TNA booked a Lashley/Drew feud better than WWE?

Remember when TNA booked a Lashley/Drew feud better than WWE? Pepperidge Farms Remembers! It's amazing how WWE took the feud wholesale right down to MVP being Lashley's mouthpiece in a POC stable, and still managed to do it worse.

Honestly even if it is just a swerve to get around the stipulation, I'm still calling this whole storyline dumb. It doesn't really make any sense that Lashley would whiplash from being an unstoppable killer monster to needing to make elaborate schemes to get multiple people to help him out and it's just needlessly cluttering the story while making Cedric and Shelton look like inconsequential losers getting there.

I wrote in another thread the other day about how WWE thinks stables are solely in service of getting one act over and binning the rest of them.
They really outdid themselves this time. 'f*** it he's champion, he doesn't need these assholes any more'

Should’ve figured something like this would happen as soon as all the chat became “Lashley’s gonna get cheered over McIntyre because he’s a fresher badass and McIntyre’s already had his turn with the shiny toy”.
It’s not even McIntyre’s fault, really. It’s not like he’s been cutting lame comedy promos or been jobbed out or done anything to turn people against him, all he’s done is be a strong babyface champion for most of the last year.

Except that has been his title run. He had beat down Drew after an EC match to get the belt on Miz who, unlike Drew, he could easily beat. From there it's been sneak attacks, offering a bounty so he he wouldn't have to face Drew, and has other help in trying to destroy Drew. The whole story going back to Miz cashing has been Lashley trying to avoid Drew because he knows they are at least equals, if not thinking Drew might be the better man.

Honestly, if you a ho-ish heel champion, wouldn’t you want to keep your goons around until AFTER you lose the f***ing belt, no matter how useless they supposedly are? What a dummy.

Like, if Alexander and Benjamin are the reason Lashley loses the belt, then yeah, sure, ditch them and bring in *sigh* Corbin, but what use is it now when, like, they could still do something before WrestleMania? Literally, nothing is stopping Lashley from sending them after him and beating him up every week instead of paying unnecessary money to the Main Event roster to inevitably fail.

Otis and Gable should join the hurt business.
I'm serious.
We have a big guy as protection for Lashley and a workhouse of the group too.
Lashley = HHH MVP = Flair Otis = Batista Gable = Orton

Don't get worked 2 weeks before Wrestlemania. Bruce Pritchard and Michael Hayes are laughing their ass off.
"What if we ban the Hurt Business from ringside. Then breakup the Hurt Business?"
"God damn, pal. That's good shit."

Reactions are gonna be fun if the Hurt Business swerve does happen... but Drew ends up winning anyway.

Honestly why is this so hard. With The Hurt Business going strong the feud wrote itself. You have them beat down and overwhelm Drew and MVP pitches it as Drew couldn’t even beat Lashley 1V1 he was no chance at mania.
Hurt Business are put over as no nonsense bad asses, Drew is sympathetically get screwed.
Have him flip the script and start taking out The Hurt Business one by one like the goddamn predator until it’s just MVP and Lashley left.
Lashley is booked against Sheamus and tells MVP to stay backstage with hired goons because he can’t keep an eye on him while dealing with Sheamus. He gets back after the match and the goons are dead and MVP is missing.
Eventually is dragged out to the ring by Drew all dishevelled with his suit all mucked up. Bobby comes out, Drew tells him to agree to have Hurt Business away from ringside at Mania or he’ll end MVP, MVP can be screaming don’t do it don’t do it
Bobby like f*** this, I don’t need Hurt Business at mania you got a deal. Bobby comes out as the badass heel champ using short cuts he doesn’t need, MVP is the calculated genius, Drew is smart enough not rely on his plot armour to solve his problems and it gets us to 1v1
