Seem to be going with the villains are all tech based this season... and possibly all the stuff that Leslie stole... which might be Brainiac related? Kinda eh on them making Intergang a small time heist crew ... the name really doesn't fit for something like that... also I think only Roughhouse was in Intergang >_> Guessing Parasite is next week just going by the big red suit... Does make me wonder about the fact that among the leaked designs are ones for... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Silver Banshee and Mxyzptlk.
Though looking again the latter does have notes on it saying he uses tech. |

Mxyzptlk being a tech thing sounds... bad... I don't really know how you can do that character properly and have it be tech based. |

Finally got a chance to see episode 3, as I'd been rather busy. Really fun, like I do like that they're doing a very good job of kind of showing why Clark and Lois would be as into each other as they are. The teaser at the end of the episode is also a really fun twist on things.
I like having some deep cuts like Roughhouse appear, too.

Ivo as a Tony Stark/Elon Musk/Steve Jobs type really worked... and I appreciated they kinda gave him his emaciated comic look at the end.

Continuing to really dig this show. Seems like it has a good idea of how to pace itself, was kind of finding myself thinking during this one that they shouldn't do the Clark giving Lois the runaround thing for too much longer so glad they already seem to be moving on from it.
Kind of wondering if Alex was supposed to be Luthor? They were giving him a couple of pretty ominous-looking shots, he seemed weirdly prominent for some random support goon, and he's a redhead so...

Continuing to really dig this show. It's potentially Luthor... he is likely one of the Cadmus people for an explanation how Ivo got the equipment and how it all vanished. That said Alex was one of the real names of a version of Parasite so it could just be a nod to that. |

Also this week kinda proved something I thought from the beginning and that Lois is at least partially Asian judging by the actual outfit probably Korean. (Also well her VA is of Korean descent... >_>)

Yup, also checks out given they appear to be Asian, and Lois' top at the party definitely seems intentionally evocative of a hanbok, heavily implying she's Korean, which an Executive Producer has revealed is indeed the case. Been watching...it's another good "American Anime" style show that is modern with its style and humor, yet stays true to the core of the characters.

Diggin the show so far (haven’t watched this weeks episode) some of the writing is a little lame (i never wanna hear “I didn’t steal it, i just… borrowed it” again lol) but I’m enjoying the will they/won’t they with Lois and Superman.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}It'll be interesting to see how the show deals with Lois and Clark having to rebuild their romance from the ground up now that Lois knows who he is. There's not that many stories told where she knows and they're not already in a relationship. The closest we came to that was when they broke off their engagement in the 90s, and that ended in their wedding anyway
God I hope this show doesn't go all 'Ross and Rachel' for as long as it goes on, where they know each other inside and out after two seasons and spend several more not committing fully for whatever stupid reason.
And poor Jimmy, Lois and Clark are too preoccupied with their own drama, so he goes it alone and gets abducted. Have to say, they're really rushing a lot of these darkest hour developments, but with such a short season (ten episodes), what can you do? |
