The show having two different end credits music (standard and a serious, ominous one) is a nice touch. I have liked the end credits have changed to fit what happened on the episode. Myxy was on last week. Jimmy was missing after Mallah grabbed him. Etc

Gonna say I think this is the first time I think the fast pace was a bit too fast... since they kinda went from people loving superman to hating him to loving him within an episode and a half

Did enjoy the episode in isolation but I do feel like this two-parter was kind of largely pointless? Could've easily condensed everything that happened into half the time while completely dropping plot points like the love-hate-love stuff from the citizens that just felt like it was moving crazy fast to go right back to where it started anyway.
Also I kind of don't think they're handling the General well at all. He's kind of so quick to show a more sympathetic side that it puts serious doubt on his existing reputation in the series and he hasn't really had a chance to actually do anything to this point, plus they're telegraphing the Sam Lane thing so much they really need to just come out and say it already.
Edit: So apparently one of the commenters on Jimmy's stream is Lori Lemaris, which raises the possibility not only that Atlantis exists but it has Wi-Fi.

The Robots that landed did have the three circle pattern on them ... which I'm going to take as confirmation as them being Braniac

Finally pulled the ULTIMATE SWERVE and surprised us that The General who looks suspiciously like Lois... is Lois's father <_<
Also we got our first look at Braniac at the end...
Oddly this is my first time watching from my parents TV with closed captioning on and ALL of Jor-el's lines are Translated to english...
he didn't say much plot related but its still weird they'd do that.
So now is the big bad a swerve or are they going the obvious root with that stinger.

I do appreciate that with finally answering the Sam Lane thing they didn't really frame it like some big shocking reveal to the viewers and focused more on the characters' reaction to it.

All episodes will be streaming in the UK and Ireland on Channel 4’s streaming service on October 17th which means I can finally catch up properly beyond the first episode!

I've been hoping we'd get news on this soon. Really hope this show continues past this season.
Weird choice to just like confirm the Alex thing in the trailer.

I hear there's gonna more Lois/Clark drama in this season. This version of Lois is quite unlikeable whenever this show does have that, so I don't think this season is gonna be for me.

Apparently two more seasons are being worked on, though they have not been officially greenlit
