Why do they hate this poor girl so much is something I don't think I will ever know. I wish there was some way to disassociate on-screen booking from the whole “This is how the office feels” thing, because there will never be a solution to it. The whole premise of this stupid nonsense revolves around someone picking who wins and who loses, and for Liv Morgan to win more often, someone else has to lose more often to make up the difference, and then their fans will be up in arms about how the office hates them. It’s zero-sum, win cannot exist independently of loss. Will Liv Morgan ever get her flowers? I can’t answer that because I don’t know. I doubt anyone in WWE knows. And that’s why all we can do is ride it out and hope for the best. There are different circles of it though. Reigns Fan - Our guy never loses (but also, doesn't get enough respect?) Drew fans - He rarely loses, he'll be World champ again, he could lose to Kalisto's Mum next week and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt (momentarily). Rock in 99 booking. Then down below you have Ricochet Fans - OK, hes getting a push now, but they've jobbed him so much it will take a lot to convince me the sky isn't falling. Jiro Fans are all "well, shit" And Drew Gulak fans are all "At least your guy gets to job in 20 second matches. The luxury!" |

It never ceases to amaze me how optimistic he always stays through this never ending cycle of pain and misery. I think that's what makes it even more sad. It's actually making me root for her even more to win a belt or accomplish ANYTHING. If it ever happens we need to throw him like a huge party or something. I appreciate the friggin’ loyalty more than anything. Nothing’s gonna get him down, he’s standing by his woman. As opposed to a lot of fans who only want to be on the bandwagon for the good times. Thanks, I do try to keep my line of thought as optimistic as possible.  It's a good rule for life in general too. At some point, in some wrestling company, she'll get a reward That's for sure! Someday she'll win the belt and the world will rejoice!  |

My favorite post in this thread is mj0mn0m hyping up Liv vs. Doudrop on Main Event like it was the biggest match ever. At this point I'm mainly rooting for Liv to win something because of how happy it'll make our friend from Finland. They deserve it. |

In a sad way I find it funny how pathetic it's got at this point that even after a slight positive development like her winning a match on Main Event against freaking Nikki ASH that we immediately start fearing and dreading a possible negative side effect that's going to lead to Liv coming off like a loser yet again. It's like we're all so used to it at this point that you can't help but think that way.

Which scenario would you prefer: 1. Liv wins MITB, Rhea beats Bianca at Summerslam then Liv cashes in on Rhea a few months later as payback for turning on her 2. Rhea wins MITB, cashes in on Bianca then feuds with Liv over the title 2. Liv wins the title later in the year, holds it for a while then is crushed Lesnar/Cena Summerslam 2014 style to put Rhea over as a heel champ Come on guys, I expected this to be bumped by now. Well, because it was a good thing that happened (Morgan getting the pin in the main event of RAW), it kind of takes the wind out of the sails of the whole “her career is literally dying” thing that is the bedrock of this very thread for a brief second. Impressive performance at MITB, beat Carmella at Extreme Rules, multiple Raw main events (and wins), strong showing at Survivor Series, World title feud with Becky and probably the best match of her career at Day 1, lasted over half an hour in the Rumble, another impressive showing in a chamber match, cool team then feud with Rhea, clean wins over Becky and Sasha, has almost already won more TV matches in 2022 than every other year of her career and she's probably one of the favorites for MITB. She went from a jobber to a key player in the division. Like, imagine telling someone exactly a year ago that Liv would get this push. Most would probably have expected her to do nothing or maybe even be released. |

I'm so thrilled to see all the positive responses in the live thread.  That really was an outstanding 6-Women Tag with innovating spots.
