I started getting gray hairs in my early-mid 20's, so I feel you Keith.

The grey hair's making me realize he looks more like a giant LeVar Burton than I ever would have noticed before. Hair, beard, and nose all look pretty similar. Levar Hurtin' is gonna devastate the indies with his finisher, the Reading Pain-bow!

Loved the storyteller bit. Hope he can find his footing and get back to where he was on the indys before WWE.

That was the most earnest he’s ever come across to me. Ever. Was glued. I really didn’t care where he wound up before but now I’m hoping and excited to see where he ends up and what he does. He’s absolutely spot-on about the “tools” and “storytelling” part.

I love that he can still somehow find humor in the situation even though you hear the sincere heartbreak in his voice because he said he always wanted to go back and end his career in WWE that was from all the interviews he wanted and he had to be over the moon...got to be with friends , his wife was in the same company and he could finish out his goal of ending his career how he wanted to. WWE has now immensely f***ed up twice with him and does not deserve a 3rd chance so I hope wherever he ends up he gets to go out in the way he does want to and hopefully whichever company he lands in gives him that chance. Oh and COME ON BOONE THE BOUNTY HUNTER 2!

Seeing reports of WWE making O'Reilly want to sign a new contract.
I don't know about the rest of you, but to me, the NEW kiss of death in WWE, is a new contract. It's sad how WWE has programmed my brain to think that way now.

Can't help but feel that "NEW CONTRACT" means for people with expiring deals really means...we need to slap you with a 90 no compete so sign this.

Kyle will be interesting because Meltzer said in no uncertain terms that AEW paid far more than the WWE offer. If they do the same for Kyle and given the likely card position he'd end up in between the two companies, it would be odd to see him stay.

Maybe Kyle just can't bring himself to let Von Wagner go.

I imagine that Cole would be worth more to AEW, because of course he would be, but Cole was worth more to WWE, too, so... Guessing if Kyle stays that they're going to have to sweeten the pot.

Unless they're paying "Secure your grandkids' future" money upfront, anyone with Kyle's level of talent re-signing with WWE drank too much of the Triple H Kool-Aid.

WWE's word is as good as dirt right now and anyone signing has to know they're taking a massive risk on there being sincere interest versus them just looking to lock him down until like spring, job him out a few times and otherwise not do shit with him, then cool him down on a no-compete. Like, there's clearly intentions if he walks to reunite reDRagon, and that means if they can convince him to stay, they f*** with and cool off those plans, mess with AEW's creative, and then when they do get bored of holding onto him he's locked out for three months after. That's a concrete and easy way to mess around and run some subterfuge rather than letting him walk out of Takeover and right onto Dynamite.

I assume if AEW is paying more than WWE is willing to, then there's no way in my mind that Kyle is staying. I frankly had a hard time seeing him staying even if WWE offered more money. Their contracts mean nothing at this point, and after the Hit Row fiasco, idk how anyone could think differently.

With AEW and New Japan looking to only get closer in their working relationship, and NJPW and Stardom being sister promotions, I wonder where that leaves things. DDT isn't nearly the rival to NJPW that TJPW is to Stardom so that doesn't seem to play much into things either.
AEW does seem to be scaling back on the joshi guest workers in general, so that doesn't make things likely. But you never know in wrestling
In a live stream interview with fans and Emi Sakura Rossy said Stardom has no relationship with AEW and they’re not really interested in working with them. I don’t think it’s impossible in the future but given their philosophy and goals I don’t particularly see them going for that anytime soon. Its weird though since yaknow the Forbidden Door is open and STARDOM is also owned by Bushiroad so you'd think that would open things up. I guess Rossy gets to be autonomous though?

If O'Reilly stays that means he's comfortable with his top end goal being working with green talent and never leaving NXT.
They're trying to keep O'Reilly and Gargano so they along with Roddy can basically be "on tv trainers" not everyone is going to want their career to be that.
