I'm not going to wish being released on him because maybe he's perfectly happy where he is, but I do certainly agree they don't use him to his best. Though he also comes off like kind of a shithead so I'm not terribly sympathetic. Craphead? What did he do?? Most notably, WWE sent out a tweet asking who people's favorite high flier was out of the four listed in said tweet. Io Shirai was like the only woman on the list (Ali, Ricochet, and Ford were the others listed iirc), and he went out of his way to crap on her specifically, claiming "everything she can do in the business, I can do better". Which pissed off a lot of fans, including some of his own coworkers who ended up taking not so subtle jabs at him. Worth noting that she had done nothing to actually provoke him either. Keep in mind, this is all ignoring the fact that he's good friends with Chasyn Rance, and numerous other absolutely terrible people. |

Yeah, sure, but being friends with a convicted sex offender is kiiiiiind of the headline story here. Put it this way, if I said why Hogan was a dick was because of the "Goodnight Hulkamaniacs" tweet and then added at the end "This doesn't take away from the captured-on-audio racism", that'd be a weird thing to shove to the side. |

You forgot Drake Wuertz Some like Metallik and Dorado also requested their releases. They were still technically cited in the budget cuts reasoning but I put people who wanted out and were asking to get out in a different light than those completely blindsided |

Just based on how several wrestlers seem to be almost relieved when they get released |

You forgot Drake Wuertz Velveteen Dream is probably also on the list of budget cuts that weren't strictly budget cuts, even though they were let go in a batch of releases that otherwise were attributed to budget cuts. |

I reckon the cuts will stop once the new WWE HQ has been constructed and they've moved in.
It's likely the worldwide shortage in supply chain and raw materials has significantly increased the cost of the building and they are panic releasing talent to absorb the expenses.
There's no source to this, just my own opinion.
