They legit have fired pretty much all of Hunter's guys (I don't count guys like Shawn or Albert who were Vince guys too) |

Meaning it won't be shocking if Johnny Ace is out of a job again within a year or two when his handpicked talents he is "scouting" end up failing miserably. Same goes for Bruce Pritchard if ratings across all three shows continue to flounder. |

Ciampa won the belt cause they needed a veteran for the new guys to work against and for whatever reason they didn't think Joe was that guy, even though he totally could have been. |

Not only did AEW vastly over perform NXT drastically underperformed projections. Once that happens the view of NXT changes internally and all the freedom Vince gave Hunter to do as he pleased now is looked at as spending too freely and needing to make changes |

The story of the rise and fall of Triple H in power is so fascinating. He went from the booking heir apparent running a critically acclaimed third brand to having everyone who worked for him fired as he loses all his real power. I would love to know his real thoughts on this and I would read a book about this backstage turmoil in a heartbeat.
