And that’s the whole last Takeover double main event gone
Karrion Kross Vs Samoa Joe Adam Cole Vs Kyle O’Reilly.
All 4 are gone from the company 5 months later.

What message? Genuinely curious. Is all of this because AEW curb-stomped Triple H's NXT? Yup. Problem is that NXT 2.0 isn't faring any better in reality, and will likely have worse results long term. Meaning it won't be shocking if Johnny Ace is out of a job again within a year or two when his handpicked talents he is "scouting" end up failing miserably. Same goes for Bruce Pritchard if ratings across all three shows continue to flounder. I wouldn't be shocked if Vince and crew made more drastic cuts because you haven't seen much change in ratings and in their minds do they're doing the same with rookies and once they go all in on their vision they'll do better than the Black and Gold

The story of the rise and fall of Triple H in power is so fascinating. He went from the booking heir apparent running a critically acclaimed third brand to having everyone who worked for him fired as he loses all his real power. I would love to know his real thoughts on this and I would read a book about this backstage turmoil in a heartbeat. This is a storyline worthy of the Japanese wrestling scene. All we need now is Shawn Michaels leading a talent exodus

What the hells going on. Have they ever gone this crazy with releases before in their history? They've never swung the axe this hard but they've also never had a roster this bloated. You'd need someone good at statistic who could tell you if percentage wise another period was worse.

Hard to believe that this would happen to the guy who took out WCW in a tank.

It's been widely reported that Bruce and Johnny are basically in charge of building up the next generation, and right now it looks...not good at all. Outside of Bron, they really have no one else that could do well on the main roster from the 2.0 class. Vince will take one look at Carmelo and be disgusted. And then you have people like Von Wagoner who are definitely going to fail, because they just aren't good. Same goes for all of these failed college athletes. Outside of Bron Breakker, no one else is doing well. And in the case of Johnny Ace signing women like the Cavinder Twins who have outright said that they aren't interested in wrestling, but are interested in "entertaining people" which...yeah.

Vince: ... and fire that Samoa Joe guy.
Asskisser: But why sir?
Vince: He's too Swiss.

One would hope those two buffons would actually face consequences when things flop from here, but it might be a Vince Russo in Dixie Carter's TNA situation. Those two are teflon, failure means someone else gets fired. Guess we'll have to see though. Ace did lose his position before, though he also never stopped being employed as an agent and eventually got his spot back.

And spoiler alert: He's not doing better at all. It's only a matter of time before both Pritchard and Ace are gone. Because neither are teflon in this era of WWE.

No surprise really and it's only a matter of time the likes of Sarah Del Rey, Normal smiley etc are gone too. Looks like we may well be back to the days of the muscle bound green giants and diva women talents which to be fair Vince and Co have always preferred to indie and genuine talented workers.

Look at the bright side.....
MJF can now get revenge against Samoa Joe, for that time Joe shoved him in NXT!

I'd say Bron isn't quite the only one doing well - Tony D'Angelo's doing fine even if his ring work is kind of letting down the rest of his presentation, Carmelo for the time being is going well (though yeah, main roster will absolutely demote him to being roadkill to push Trick instead), Grayson Waller seems to be finding his footing a bit, Andre's carving out a decent niche for himself, Odyssey was doing fine up until he decided to tweet some bullshit - but it's certainly not a large proportion of the debuts in recent months.

Joe would be a great asset to AEW given the guy's knowledge, especially if he was picked up alongside Regal. Between the two of them, you'd have some of the best people to pass on their experiences to the next generation.
Or he can go back to Impact and have to fight off the Ninjas trying to kidnap him again.
So really it's win-win.

I'd say Vince is going scorched earth on Triple H's NXT, but scorched earth is an understatement. At this point Steve who once handed Triple H a Gatorade is gonna get canned.

Vince is furiously trying to find that Stan guy so he can get rid of him for once being in a segment with Triple H, all while failing to notice people awkwardly glancing at nearby chairs.

I'm not getting my hopes up, but one last Punk vs Joe match would be great to see.
