I'd say Vince is going scorched earth on Triple H's NXT, but scorched earth is an understatement. At this point Steve who once handed Triple H a Gatorade is gonna get canned. Vince is furiously trying to find that Stan guy so he can get rid of him for once being in a segment with Triple H, all while failing to notice people awkwardly glancing at nearby chairs. McMahon calling the Undertaker in and gravely saying "So, I hear Paul has this friend, 'Mark'?"

Yup. Problem is that NXT 2.0 isn't faring any better in reality, and will likely have worse results long term. Meaning it won't be shocking if Johnny Ace is out of a job again within a year or two when his handpicked talents he is "scouting" end up failing miserably. Same goes for Bruce Pritchard if ratings across all three shows continue to flounder. One would hope those two buffons would actually face consequences when things flop from here, but it might be a Vince Russo in Dixie Carter's TNA situation. Those two are teflon, failure means someone else gets fired. Guess we'll have to see though. Ace did lose his position before, though he also never stopped being employed as an agent and eventually got his spot back. The goon troop has a completely limited lifespan but they are trying to do as much damage before that axe comes down. Because I have theorized this about Vince's eventual succession plan I believe...that while Khan will end up as CEO it is Stephanie who will become chair of the board and that completely f***s the goon squad and anyone associated with them out the f***ing door immediately as Stephanie can't stand any of them in the same way HHH can't stand them and it has always been well known HHH and Stephanie would immediately fire them all in a first act if they take over from Vince.

Are you f***ing kidding me. Well he’s off to AEW, right?? I have no idea, but I'll keep saying this until I will it into reality: I just want to see Joe, Punk, Danielson, and Homicide all in a ring together on prime time cable TV in a big ass arena one time. Doesn't even have to be a match, I just want to see that image.

Yeah, that symbolism of Bron kicking the old NXT into pieces wasn't actually symbolism.
It was more like a public company e-mail.

But even then his mic work is pretty much invaluable that dude is gonna be spittin fiya.

Given the way Vince is these days, if he calls taker, he's going to make him head trainer to replace Bloom so he can teach talent the virtues of drinking, chewing tobacco, ignoring company rules to go to strip clubs and tormenting rookies over nonsense.

Unpopular opinion but I have no desire to see Samoa Joe in the ring as a wrestler do I think another company should bring him in for a scout, commentary, Trainer or manager absolutely but I feel like his body has broken down to much the last few years

How long until Campia is gone? I hate to say that because with all of HHH people going. He is one of the very few even left. Everyone else left by release or on there own for one reason or another.

I know it's a longshot, but 6 months from now Charlotte might be gone from WWE.

The bigger question for me is how long Roddy Strong has got. Yeah, they resigned him, so you'd think he'd be safe. But this is 2021/22 WWE so he isn't. And I think he will soon be seeing the error in choosing to resign with this sinking ship.

The future doesn't look bright for the likes of Ciampa, Strong, LA Knight, Santos Escobar, Kushida, Dexter Lumis and Pete Dunne
None of them really fit into the new direction of NXT/WWE

Pardon my ignorance if it was posted elsewhere, but I can't find it. Besides Road Dogg, Regal and Joe, who else was released in this wave?

How about Dakota Kai? I'm afraid that one's coming, she's been losing a lot and was a Triple H signing.

Don’t kid yourself.

The story of the rise and fall of Triple H in power is so fascinating. He went from the booking heir apparent running a critically acclaimed third brand to having everyone who worked for him fired as he loses all his real power. I would love to know his real thoughts on this and I would read a book about this backstage turmoil in a heartbeat. One of the really fascinating parts of it all to me is that this ugly power grab move is being pushed by some of the least impressive f***-up 'I had a fall guy' dipshits in company history. Johnny Ace? Bruce Prichard? These are the dudes who are being trusted to bring a new direction when they barely had a direction the first time around. It's a hatchet job. It's yes men cannibalizing somebody who was actually doing good work because he didn't achieve lofty goals that turned out to be the secret 'real' reason he was given the green light to do what he did in the first place. That means undoing all the work he did to regress things back to a worse state and unravel all the progress he tried to make in the company, spurred on by the whims of one new executive who is actually bringing success in his role but who is absolutely demolishing everything around him in the process with no care for the wrestling business and how it differs from a sandwich shop. He's lost all his power and had his successes rewritten as failures by real failures who moved the goal post while sweet talking his father in law into giving them power instead. It's some real Shakespeare tragedy shit.
