At this point, we probably shouldn't be surprised if anyone gets released outside of the current four world champions. They've released great indie workers and they've released Braun Strowman and everyone in-between. No one is safe no matter what they offer. At this point, I’d only be shocked by Lesnar, Roman, Rollins and Becky being cut. Surprised by Bayley and New Day. I could also genuinely see Triple H and Stephanie leaving the company in the next couple years. Not to go to AEW or anything, just cashing out and retiring. Shane's left several times, so it's really not far fetched.

We'll know if they're really f***ing with Triple H when they end up releasing one of the Horsewomen. Won't be Becky obviously.

There might be a few regrets HHH has in life... but at this point calling AEW a "Pissant Company" at the Hall of Fame ceromony might be getting close to the top of the list lmfao.

Change-averse and stubborn Vince will take yes men who say the real key to success is the same old shit that's had them whittling away at their audience for years over Triple H's efforts to modernize and grow on-screen. Prichard Vince's living bidet and Johnny Ace is a pig, and both will are happy to make Vince 'comfortable' in setting him back down into old patterns. They're the worst people to give the keys to, and the ratings aren't going to look better in a couple years when these changes really shake out and we see the fruits of this labor, because it's really shit labor. It's that but Nick Khan being there to pump the idea that talent doesn't matter is part of it too. Nick Khan showing Vince dollar signs is absolutely a big part of it. Them being fine with Khan ripping the company to shreds and encouraging Vince is probably a big part of why this new regime has so favorably gone their way. They aren't bringing anything of value to the table, but they're benefiting from being on the side of 'yeah make more money do this it'll be great' when Nick Khan's vision makes the on-screen product fundamentally worse and this is all setting them up for a long-term meltdown.

It really is insane to think that Joe called WrestleMania in a thunderstorm and they thanked him by firing him twice in nine months.

I know it's a longshot, but 6 months from now Charlotte might be gone from WWE. The Horsewoman I'm really concerned about is Sasha; she definitely doesn't fit Vince and Ace's "type", and she's been on the injured list a number of times in the last few years, and we all know how being labeled "injury prone" is a death sentence. Either way, it wouldn't surprise me at all to see one or more of the Horsewomen gone by the end of the year. Another I'm concerned about is Finn Balor. He's another one the brass has probably labeled "injury prone", his first main event run was just snakebitten, and he's probably the most clear Triple H guy in the company that isn't in the Kliq. Not that he'd have any lack of prospects, whether that be joining the Elite in AEW or going back to the OG Bullet Club in NJPW, but his release would be the most clear "f*** Paul Levesque and everything he stands for" release possible.

This is WWE’s version of Order 66, Jesus. This the realest shit in the thread.

It really feels like after a year of fans being like “lol NXT loses in the ratings again” “NXT isn’t good anymore” WWE just shrugged and said “guess you’re right. Jettison it”

I'm not making light of it, but given Hunter's health scare a while back... Vince really is cold blooded to basically gut his pride and joy like that

So Joe's gone again, Spud's gone again. I were Zelina I'd be getting real f***ing antsy the second I lost the tag titles. Don't be surprised if they fire her while she's still holding the tag belts.

I really do feel like Finn leaving is a matter of when rather than if. I can't imagine he's happy to be jerked out of NXT pretty much entirely to go back to losing constantly and they basically don't even try to act like he's a big deal at this point.

The story of the rise and fall of Triple H in power is so fascinating. He went from the booking heir apparent running a critically acclaimed third brand to having everyone who worked for him fired as he loses all his real power. I would love to know his real thoughts on this and I would read a book about this backstage turmoil in a heartbeat. One of the really fascinating parts of it all to me is that this ugly power grab move is being pushed by some of the least impressive f***-up 'I had a fall guy' dipshits in company history. Johnny Ace? Bruce Prichard? These are the dudes who are being trusted to bring a new direction when they barely had a direction the first time around. It's a hatchet job. It's yes men cannibalizing somebody who was actually doing good work because he didn't achieve lofty goals that turned out to be the secret 'real' reason he was given the green light to do what he did in the first place. That means undoing all the work he did to regress things back to a worse state and unravel all the progress he tried to make in the company, spurred on by the whims of one new executive who is actually bringing success in his role but who is absolutely demolishing everything around him in the process with no care for the wrestling business and how it differs from a sandwich shop. He's lost all his power and had his successes rewritten as failures by real failures who moved the goal post while sweet talking his father in law into giving them power instead. It's some real Shakespeare tragedy shit. The quality of the roster is gonna degrade worse than it was in late 2004 and the TV will continue to be written like ass. That's how dire straits the company is moving forward.

I'm just waiting for them to release Io Shirai or for her to just leave
Why she's still in developmental after 3 and a half years I will never know, she's really wasting her prime years in that company. This is a woman who was rated as one of the best wrestlers in the world before she even signed for WWE, she didn't need 3 and a half years to learn where the hard cam is. As far as I'm concerned, this is a criminal waste of her talent.

The only other one who feels absolutely safe is Miz, between the reality show and the feeling I get that he knows where the figurative bodies are buried, and would likely wreck their shit in the mainstream media.

So let's run down who is left from the HHH era of importance shall we? People he'd signed and worked with hard in NXT to make them their gimmicks and give them pushes of importance
- Charlotte - Becky - Bayley - Sasha - Asuka - Io - Raquel - Dakota Kai - Shotzi - Liv Morgan - Akira Tozawa - Cedric Alexander - Apollo Crews - Angelo Dawkins - Montez Ford - Chad Gable - Otis - Damien Priest - Bobby Roode - Sarrray - Imperium - WALTER - Grizzled Young Vets - LA Knight - Cameron Grimes - Roderick Strong - Malcolm Bivens - Baron Corbin - Shinsuke Nakamura - Rick Boogs - Finn Balor - Kevin Owens - Sami Zayn - Matt Riddle - Mustafa ALi - T Bar - MACE - The Entire NXT UK Roster - Alexa Bliss - Bianca Belair - Doudrop - Dana Brooke - Nikki ASH - Rhea RIpley - Zelina - Drew Gulak - Erik - Ivar - Humberto - Angel - Dexter Lumis - Indi Hartwell - Candice Larae - Madcap Moss - Boa - Karen Q - Mansoor - Ricochet - Ridge Holland - Aliyah - Shayna - Xia Li
So... do I expect all of these talents to be cut? No. But can I look at this list and see like over half the names listed as names WWE would cut at this point even BEFORE factoring in the clear bias against HHH talents and favorites there seems to be now? Yeah...
Don't be surprised if we see quite a few of these names in this thread in the future... as much as I don't want to see it, logic is pointing in this direction if WWE's going full scorched earth with HHH right now and that REALLY seems like the case...

Between the scare and getting to spend time with his family, does he have a desire to? Can he? Maybe they're flushing the system because he can't do there is no reason to keep his system in place. This is just gone to such an extreme I think there must be more behind it than meets the eye.

As far as I'm concerned, this is a criminal waste of her talent. Io and Sarray were both regarded as one of the top women's wrestlers on the whole planet when they each signed to the company, now it feels like both have been wasted and neither is going to last much longer, Sarray even more so. It's amazing to me how much WWE just doesn't understand Joshi talent and yknow... how good and valuable they can be as performers.
