It's amazing that Madame Web may very well end up NOT being the worst superhero movie of the year. It's even more amazing that the studio that released Madame Web may end up releasing a superhero movie worse than that.

I think it's safe to say that the worst superhero movie of the year is already wrapped up: It's now expected to bomb so hard it'll make Madame Web and Kraven look like Infinity War and Endgame.

Ehhhh The Crow is a comic movie but not a superhero movie.
Yea I know splitting hairs some.
Interested in Kraven. Always been a fan of the character. Then enjoyed both Venom and Madame Web,which wasnt trash but entertaining. Morbius is ok.

So apparently if Sony uses Spider-Man villains or characters in movies first, then The MCU can't use them. Suddenly explains why they keep churning out these movies With the post credits scene in NWH implying a piece of Venom was left behind i'm not sure i believe that. I also can't imagine Disney being too bothered about not using Madame Web or Morbius either.

The trailer was at my showing of Deadpool & Wolverine and it's amazing how terrible it looks from that.

I think its not as simple as the MCU can’t use what SonyMarvel uses.
I don’t think the MCU can use any of Spider-Man’s rogues gallery in a stand alone Disney MCU films. Of there is exceptions like Punisher (whose origin was being Spider-Man foe) and Kingpin (crosses from comic to comic but is considered a SM villain). The only time a Spidy villain has been in a MCU was in the Spider-Man Home trilogy, you didn’t see any in MCU movies that's that Peter Parker was in but not headlining (They must have given special exception for Aunt May and Ned who do briefly appear in MCU films.. I think Ned was on the bus at the start of Infinity War)

Same reason why Coogler wasn't able to use Kraven in Black Panther. Of course, there's always deals that can be cut, like Marvel getting to borrow Ego the Living Planet from FOX in exchange for getting to completely overhaul Negasonic Teenage Warhead for the Deadpool films.

Wait, this movie hasn't been released yet??
I remember seeing a trailer for it before "Talk to Me," and that was over a year ago.

Wait, this movie hasn't been released yet?? I remember seeing a trailer for it before "Talk to Me," and that was over a year ago. It's been pushed back four times – original release date was January 2023, then October, then August 2024, now December.

I watched it, Black Adam and a few other superhero movies on my flight to and from Tokyo a few weeks ago. I don't think I've ever been more bored by a movie about 4 hot women fighting crime.

Why doesn't Marvel just buy the rights?
Surely after failure after failure after failure. Sony might as well think "let's just cash in and get a shed load of cash" rather than pissing money up the wall trying to make this work.,

I cant think of any of the characters they own who would be able to hold a movie by themselves. Other than Venom who they've shot their load with already. Other than possibly Spider-Man variants--Spider-Man Noir might actually work as a TV show. They've got some cool villains--but none of which can solo carry a movies, and have no interesting heroes to carry a movie to oppose said villains.

I don't think there's a chance Kraven is worse than Madame Web. The trailer for Kraven was better than the full Madame Web movie. Madame Web was truly, truly awful. Kraven at least looks like it'll have entertaining action.

Whether they truly expect that much or just wanted to scare the Mouse off, the result was the same.

I'm just here to remind everyone that Kraven should be the main villain in stand alone Tigra movie.

I just wanna know how much of a mess they'll make of the Live Action Zelda movie Honestly I don't see Sony as likely to inherently screw up the Zelda movie that much because I don't think it's possible to make a good Zelda movie in the first place. The games are fun but they have the story depth of a napkin; probably the most three dimensional character in the series is Midna and she's pretty much just a completely stock tsundere archetype and even the modern games still operate almost entirely within the structure of the original game where like 10% of the game's dialogue was, "Dodongo dislikes smoke." The Zelda series has a lot of lore but it has virtually no plot.
