Good for Wales, taking advantage of a very poor Turkey for this tournament.
Italy have been impressive so far, wonder how they'll fare against a better team in the next round though. The Wales game will feel like a friendly now.
Hated Spain's tici-taki bollocks that resulted in absolutely nothing. Had them to low -key reach the final but I'm changing that prediction already now.
France/Germany was a crap game but France did show flashes of why they're the favourites. They have the best depth in squad and in Mbappe, for me the best player in the competition.

If it’s any consolation I’ve seen a few people who backed Turkey to do well in this tournament. But it just hasn’t happened for them at all. They can still go through if they beat Switzerland. I wouldn’t back them though. Based on tonight I think all bets for Turkey v Switzerland are off now...! Think it’s probably going to be a draw and both will end up getting eliminated. Switzerland looked decent against Wales but rubbish against Italy if there’s a winner I think it would probably be them.

and we've seen ukraine get a decent win over plucky north macedonia by 2-1 ... by way of a rebound penalty goal AND ukraine getting another one saved!
now belgium are showing their class now by going in front of denmark, who scored in TWO MINUTES today, but are now behind 2-1 thanks to kevin de bruyne

De Bruyne even with a broken face is world class. Completely changed that game.

Still don’t know why Liverpool have let Wijnaldum go instead of giving him a three year deal. He’s still quality and he’s only 31.

So twelve hours to go until the latest chapter of the oldest rivalry in international football. My heart thinks Scotland could sneak a draw but my head thinks England will just be too strong.

The Scots certainly aren't pushovers, but realistically they shouldn't pose a massive threat to England... But we said that at about Iceland four years ago.

Have to say that I fancy a low scoring game for this. Would back a 0-0 draw for value but if England win, it will be a scrappy 1-0 because Scotland will be up for this.

Scotland can absolutely get a result tonight, they will (without wishing to sound patronising) raise their game to new levels for this fixture, and do have some talented players.
England should still roll over them, but obviously it doesn't always play out like that.

Those two goals that Belgium scored were works of art.

Commentary for Sweden/Slovakia is as dire as the game they're watching.

Luke Shaw and Reece James will start as full backs replacing Walker and Trippier. Tierney is back for Scotland. England 2/7, Scotland 9/1, Draw 4/1. Still fancy the draw for a bit of value.

Off the post from Stones! Maybe should have buried that free header.
Scotland had looked dangerous in the opening minutes though, Che Adams in particular.

Huge, huge chance for O'Donnell. England have to be careful.
