I find it interesting so many on the roster have the potential to be AEW champion but of course they can't all be, especially if title reigns continue to be lengthy and some are multiple time champions. It'll be like the old days when guys like Piper, Ted Sr and Jake never won the WWF title. So time to stick our necks out, who from this list do you think will fail to win the big one (or won't a second time in the case of Mox and Jericho).
Edit: FFS, ruined my own poll.

My nos and my rationales: -Christian Cage: Here to be a veteran and put things over. I can see him absolutely having a title feud at some point, but I doubt he's scoring the big one unless it turns out TK posts here under the name Chiral. -Cody: I think he's serious about the title stipulation. -Jericho: Another vet here and one who is even more direct in having his hand in who he's putting over. He had his run at the title at the company's outset and it accomplished what it needed to accomplish. Now, he should be and has been building up the future. -Eddie: It's just a bit too late for him. I'd totally give him a tag or TNT title run, he's f***ing killing it and one of the best elements of the show. But the ship has sailed. -Lance Archer: As good as he is, his ceiling is impossible-seeming challenger or the TNT title. -Penta and Fenix: It just doesn't feel like the company sees them as singles stars on that level, even tohugh both totally could be. -Wardlow: His inclusion on the list kinda gave me a good laugh.

Eddie seems like the most obvious to me. Out of that list, Starks seems like the second least likely to ever win it.
But then, you never know who might catch fire once they start touring again.

I think it's safe to say I'll never win the AEW title.

Penta, but a TNT title reign is possible.
Same for Kingston.
Christian Cage is in AEW as a veteran to help the younger generation out.
Definitely no on Shawn Spears.
Too late for Daniels, I'm afraid.

Out of those, I would honestly think Christian Cage is the least likely.

Probably a ton of people if they keep with every reign being bare minimum six months long.

I think it's safe to say I'll never win the AEW title. Not with that attitude.

From that list I feel like Archer is least likely.

Brian Cage: Not a high priority, but still protected in terms of taking clean losses. He's not part of their clique, and it's insane that that should matter when talking about a guy who looks and wrestles like Brian Cage, but in AEW in matters. PROBABLY NOT
Christian: That train's left the station. NO
Hangman: Clearly being groomed for it. YES
Jericho: That part of his run's probably done, but he's reinvented himself before. MAYBE
Cody: If his outside-of-wrestling ventures through Turner fail, that stipulation will be overturned in an instant. Especially if ratings stagnate/decline, they'll convinces themselves he can turn it around. MAYBE
Darby: Clearly positioned as one of their standout acts. YES
Kingston: He's not their type, but he's good and popular enough that when the comments about how blatant AEW's "type" is start reaching a fever pitch, I can see them letting him have an underdog-makes-good win to deflect criticism. MAYBE
Moxley: If they don't, they've lost their minds. Still their biggest star, still has a lot left in the tank. Might be a bad guy during his next top run to keep things fresh. YES
Archer: Seems positioned as a guy who loses to make his opponents look good. He's got the size and presence they could push him fast if they decided to. PROBABLY NOT
Miro: Has all the tools. Not sure there aren't too many higher priorities on the roster ahead of him, but he's in contention. PROBABLY
MJF: Duh. YES
PAC: Doesn't feel like he wants to commit to being that tied to a US promotion right now. PROBABLY NOT
Penta: Not their type. NO
Fenix: Not their type. NO
Silver: Their type. MAYBE
Orange Cassidy: He brings in the $$$ in merch sales. Like Undertaker, his act's not really suited for a conventional championship run, but that won't stop them forever. PROBABLY
Starks: A lot of potential, but there's also a lot of guys ahead of him in priorities for now. MAYBE
Sammy: Groomed for big things. PROBABLY
Wardlow: If he has half the talent of Cage, he'll get pushed twice as hard, because they can claim him as their discovery. PROBABLY
Jungle Boy: Future star written all over him. YES
Andrade: Not their type. NO

Honestly I can picture Eddie getting a brief, feel good title win then dropping it the next night or next PPV. It depends on him though as he strikes me as not wanting it. Likewise, Christian is definitely there to put the youngsters over.
I can't see Wardlow just because they're already bringing in big guys that look more likely. Then again when he's finally had enough of MJFs shit he'll be mega-over.
I can't see Silver. I know he's come into his own a LOT, but unless some big names leave there's a ceiling there.

I voted for Eddie, only because while he’s a phenomenal asset to AEW and is one their MVP’s, I don’t see him winning the big belt. I can totally see him win the TNT title at some point and I do want to see him fight Omega at least once before Kenny drops the title.

I picked the first option, because I'm pretty sure at this point in my life I don't stand a chance.

NO Given how you seem to view AEW I ain't even gonna touch what "Not their type" means, but Andrade never winning the world title of all the LA Stars they have would be absolutely baffling to me. He could absolutely win it and has the star power to do it and hold it... at the very least he's a big Maybe to me. Kingston said he only wants to win the belt from a Heel Mox in Rochester or at least that would be his dream scenario so who knows. Penta and Fenix could, especially Fenix if the dude could just stay healthy enough to not be out alternating months due to bad luck. Khan has said the world of Fenix and said he views him as a megastar for the company, but the past year especially he's been hurt like four separate times, thankfully not serious but it still sucks. Penta they have found something great with Alex so I root for any success. He would not be lost in main event programs or holding the big gold.

Who will never win the AEW title? is a scrub ex-WWE guy, who is too jingoistic, and is a video game gimmick who makes too many Vince references. He's not winning no World Title!
