Highly doubt 76ers do that. That's trading in your own division and would have to see him 4 times a year Rumor was Morey was asking for Fred, Anunoby, and a pick for Simmons which Toronto turned down, so yeah, they won't accept Lowry. I'm just saying I don't think they can do better than that after the playoffs Ben had. No other team is giving up a star (Lillard, Beal) for a max player who won't shoot and not sure teams will be lining up to trade picks either. They will tho Ben stock is down but his skillset is not being put to use. Of course every team will want to lowball 76ers but if you put him on his own team and get his mindset right he will put up the numbers. He still requires a high demand but just not as high as before. If i'm Wizards or Blazers, I take Ben for their All Star. Only difference is you have to add picks in the Lillard trade while Beal can have Swaps I've been a big critic of Ben game and on offense he has slacked real hard but he needs a whole new staff to get on him. He could average 20, 8 and 8 as a main focus of the team and be somewhat a baby Giannis if he gets his own situation and a fresh start

I don't know if it's because the Celtics don't have a pick until midway through the second round, or because I didn't watch a minute of college basketball until March Madness, but I can't remember the last time I had such little enthusiasm for the NBA Draft.
I'm just looking at the list of players and outside of the consensus top-five, I'm just saying to myself, "Who are any of these guys?"

He could average 20, 8 and 8 as a main focus of the team and be somewhat a baby Giannis if he gets his own situation and a fresh start If this was 2 years ago I would have agreed with you but how much sample is enough to see what he is? It's not that he can't shoot, he simply doesn't shoot. He's shot 34 3 pointers in his entire career. He shot 30% from the FT line in the playoffs. On top of that, unlike Giannis, he doesn't have a high drive to improve, combined with having $140m guaranteed to him over the next four years (so no incentive to cash out). He's definitely high upside, and if someone acquires him and fixes him, they could have a top 10 player, but it's such a long shot based on his lack of drive that I'm not sure a team would be smart to do it. Giannis was raw but never afraid to shoot. He just wasn't good at it, so he worked on it. Can a team rely on Ben to do that? I don't know. If I'm Portland or Washington, I'm looking for young players and picks. If it's straight up for Simmons, that's a big mistake that they'll regret. He needs to go to a team with a great player development track record (Spurs, Raptors, etc) and even then I'm not positive he pans out.

Two way player contracts changing this season
There will be no in-season deadline to sign a player to a two-way contract.
The salary for a two-way player will be half of the rookie minimum. Currently, the rookie minimum projects to be $925,258, in which case the two-way salary would be $462,629.
Two-way players won’t face the usual 45-day NBA limit. However, there will be a cap on how many games they can spend on a team’s active list.

The Athletic says the Kings are exploring “Win now” moves. I cannot wait until they shit the bed (again) and end up “Winning now” to the 11th seed, missing the playoffs, and having zero plan for the future. Life of a Kings fan. Smh fml What would you want in return for Bagley? What's his value on the open market?

Bagley value is basically a high 2nd round pick or a young raw player you can throw in the D League He has the tools on offense to get it done but his defense is highly lacking and when he gets momentum he gets injured

Smh fml What would you want in return for Bagley? What's his value on the open market? A mid-first pick? An equally struggling early pick like Bamba. Despite his massive flaws, there’s talent + youth and I don’t want to give him away, that said I know his value is shot. Honestly at this point I want to hold onto him for a handful of reasons. 1: He improves; ups his trade value from its bottomed-out state it’s currently on. 2: He improves; Kings actually keep him. 3: He’s still Marvin Bagley he “helps” the Kings by playing losing basketball; More lottery balls and he gone 4; He gets hurt (again); He gone

They did save Markelle, but man, players they have draft and developed themselves? Probably have to go all the way back to Gordon? Jury is out on Cole Anthony. But man, BUST after BUST after BUST. Mario Hezonja Jonathan Isaac - Jury's still out? Mohamed Bamba Chuma Okeke - Has he developed?

Mario Hezonja Jonathan Isaac - Jury's still out? Mohamed Bamba Chuma Okeke - Has he developed? Speaking as a Magic fan I think it's not quite as bad as it looks. Hezonja is a bust no doubt about that, but Isaac problem is really just health and while that is a major issue he has shown DPOY potential when healthy even if his offense hasn't progressed as much as hoped. Okeke missed his whole first season recovering from his NCAA tournament injury but once he knocked the rust off this season he was showing the potential to be at least solid role player before they shut him down for a minor injury at the end of the season when we were tanking.
Bamba, I really put a lot on Clifford. Bamba should have been given the chance to play through his mistakes as Vucevic backup but Clifford decided to give those minutes to Birch instead. Bamba still has his flaws and will probably never be what they hoped he'd be when we drafted him but he showed enough after we traded Vuc and released Birch that I'm interested in seeing the competition between him and Carter Jr. for the 5 spot next year. Unless they both flop hard I imagine they will be competing all year to see which one will get a new contract from Orlando and which one will need to find a new team in free agency. As for trading for Bagley, I think I saw enough in Bamba after the trades that I'd rather see what he can do with a full season under a coach dedicated to developing young players instead of chasing the 8th seed.

Trae and Harden about to be real mad this season
NBA changes rules to now not allow non "basketball moves" such as jumping into your opponent to not count as fouls.

What about a Porzingis package for Simmons trade? Or is it too much with Luka and his problems with the organization?

What about a Porzingis package for Simmons trade? Or is it too much with Luka and his problems with the organization? KP stock has fallen too far and him and Simmons aren't a great fit on paper Luka needs the ball and I think Ben should play more a Draymond role but idk if Luka is at his game yet as good as he is that he can run off picks and screens and flat knock down jump shots. Add on both are not good FT shooters which isn't ideal for end of games but you obviously live and die with Luka making his FTs Besides that, Mavs sunk a good cost into getting KP. Giving up two first. They have draft capital outside of the protected Top 10 2023 pick to the Knicks but if you're going to sink that cost you go after someone else. And Ultimately, two bigs is not a great recipe for success. 76ers just went through that with Horford and Embiid

Apparently the Sixers have also thrown theirselves into the Buddy Hield race.
Hield is slightly better than the Kings and their fans give him credit for, so drive each other’s prices up! BIDDING WAR!
The dude will flourish as a strict spot-up guy standing outside of either LBJ/AD or Embiid.

- Early indications are Mike Conley will go back to Jazz and as said before Jazz are trying to make deals to accommodate a large contract for him. I thought Conley had an outside chance of going elsewhere but if they paying you big money why leave
- Kings tender a QO to Terrence Davis. I see him coming back unless a team offers him an insane contract. I think he's good for around $7-10 mill per year
- The Play In Tournament will come back next season. I think it is here to stay. Basketballs own version of the Wildcard that has worked for NFL and MLB

Went under the radar but reportedly OKC offered SGA and the number 6 pick to Det for the number 1
That's a legit offer BUT smart on Det for turning it down. SGA is coming up on an extension and they would have had to pay him and OKC loves SGA and he's their guy but getting the number 1 would allowed them to go real slow with Cunningham leading the team
I don't expect to see SGA traded unless OKC gets real cheap but something to look at for the 2023 draft
