Ya love to see it. Toronto chokes again. 19 seasons and counting now since they have won a round.... What sucks is so many of their fans are great. I've never heard of Canadian home crowds being inhospitable, other than to other Canadian fanbases lol. But because of a segment of their fanbase and the media coverage, it's easy to hate on them as a whole. They should be as easy to root for as Florida.

Welp, Edge shouldn't insult the crowd's sports team on Raw with his Leafs choking again

Welp, Edge shouldn't insult the crowd's sports team on Raw with his Leafs choking again Don't worry, Raw is coming to Toronto August 22nd. Be prepared for Toronto to TURN on him the moment he mentions them....

I wanna puke. All I live for, every year, is TML. I’ve already cried, I kicked my friend out of the house because I needed to be alone. I just hurt right now. Everyone get their laughs in, haha f*** Toronto but I really, really wanted this one and so did they

Predictions for tomorrow's game 7s: Rangers over Pens and Stars over the Flames (No Battle of Alberta for you)

Holy shit, the Rangers have no business being alive for a game seven; they look terrible. But when you get the other team's third string goalie and knock out their best player with a pretty overt elbow to the face, I guess that's a convenient way to level the ice. Either way, whoever wins that game seven is likely going to be devastated by the winner of Boston/Carolina; between Pitt's injuries and the Rangers' overall play, neither of them look like they have any business being here. ETA: Just read that so far in the series, high percentage chances are 103-52 in favor of Pittsburgh. Goes to show how important goaltending is; Sheshterkin hasn't been great this series, but he's the literal only reason the Rangers are alive. Credit to Florida the last few nights; they just never, ever go away, do they? Capitals are giving them all they can, but Panthers just seem to have more endurance/overall better legs under them. Ok, Caps have a power play with a minute left, let's see...WOAH that play couldn't have gone better for them, could it? Mantha and Oshie just playing pepper with that puck. Just win baby! The record books don't have a column for ugly wins. I don't ever recall a Devils fan complaining about having Brodeur, he won a few games for you guys The kids line are also a reason the team is still alive. Happy for Florida's first win since 96, better that it was against Washington. If the Rangers lose, Florida will be my bandwagon team from the East. We've got five game 7's folks. Giggity. Eeehhh, not quite as much as you think; trust me, I have way, waaaaaay too many memories of five game first round exits over the years. My larger point is mainly that whoever's moving on from NYR/Pitt is going to have to change something, because neither team really looks good at all. Carolina is vulnerable with their goaltending situation, but it's just been ugly to watch. I won't bash the Leafs for this one: there was no real choke job here. Sometimes, you just draw a super tough opponent, give it everything...and you lose. The Leafs controlled the puck a LOT last night, but Vas was a brick wall, and the guys in front of him almost looked like a Tortorella team with the shots they were blocking/lanes they were clogging up. Credit to Tampa for knowing how to shut an offensive powerhouse down in a game seven road game. Note: I realize this is not an iota of consolation to Leafs fans given...well, everything, but this wasn't the same memeable "choke" loss, it was just getting stonewalled at the worst possible time. ...though I admit I did share a montage of Bill Murray waking up to Sonny and Cher to mark what this probably feels like. Btw, once again McDavid went God mode. If you can find the stats, check 'em out, not a hot take here at all but the guy is from another planet right now. Hoping the Flames win, need a "Battle of (insert state/province here)" that isn't so Floridian.

Hoping the Flames win, need a "Battle of (insert state/province here)" that isn't so Floridian. More than fair view and I agree. I think Carolina advances no matter who it is. From my couch neither Pitt or NYR have shown enough that says either wouldn't be a sizeable underdog. Reallllllllly hoping for a Flames win tonight. The Battle of Alberta would be crazy but I haven't seen any of that series so no idea what to expect. And you're right, McDavid is absolutely insane. He was so much fun to watch last night. I'm pumped for the Battle of Florida. I still say Game 1 from last year was the best game I've ever seen. Will be interesting to see if Florida can do it. Have a little more depth and Tampa has a little less depth and less in the tank. Will be interesting to see what Tampa's stamina is like. Can't wait for it.

So do the Rangers take it tonight or not?
I honestly don't have a feel for this one.

So do the Rangers take it tonight or not? I honestly don't have a feel for this one. 100% comes down to Igor, I think. Jarry and Crosby are in for Pitt tonight but I can't imagine they're 100%, but Sid being in means better balance on the Penguins' lines, too, so it all probably comes down to if Sheshterkin goes Super Saiyan or remains looking surprisingly human. 1-1 after 1. ETA: Another game where the Penguins utterly dominate the Rangers...yet we're at OT. That third Rangers goal was no bueno, though; pretty absurd you can take an opposing player's helmet off, even inadvertently, and rather than play being whistled down the player whose helmet is gone has to skate to the bench. NHL and skewed player safety priorities, name a more iconic duo.

That tying goal, had the Penguins challenged and the referee called if off, what a riot it would cause.
Anyway Rangers win. I am more of an Islander fan so I don't really care as much, though I love to see a winning New York team in the playoffs for once.

The Rangers pull it out. I still don't like their chances against Carolina, but they look a lot better than they did at the start of this series. The East is kinda wide open.

Dirty hits and refs missing that helmet rip off by the Rangers. Sickening

Well I am not a passionate hockey fan. I am a Knick fans and have no love for the Nets. Go figure. Though I can't stand the Penguins. Now for the Rangers and the Hurricanes, I don't care one way or another, who wins. Part of me, wants the Rangers run to end sooner than latter because it is taking attention away from the Yankees.

Twice in the same day, we get the three best words in all of sports: game seven overtime.
