FOR Hangman winning the title. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. That said, I believe it's still happening at All Out. Remember, Kofi vs. Bryan wasn't made official until about two weeks before Mania 35. Bryan wasn't even in the title match of Mania 30 until the show had started. There's plenty of time to see this through.

Well, tonight made this wager interesting, though that Hangman beatdown felt more like a write off than a lead-in to All Out to me. Especially with them having Kenny say no one's left to challenge him then immediately cutting to Christian as the commentators talked about how much he deserves a title shot.
Either way I definitely think it's dumb having Hangman go right back to, "I'm a failure so I don't deserve friends." That grass was worn brown a year ago.

Did we need Hangman to fail at the crucial moment and step away from his friends *again*? We’ve been there. Not sure what the point of making the story longer through doing this is.

Hangman will probably get his shot, but in return he will probably have to put the existence of The Dark Order on the line.

The Christian match will probably headline The First Dance episode of Rampage along with Punk’s return.

I dont think he is stepping away because he feels like a failure.
If you watched him then and now you will see the way the steps out of the elite and of The DO are very different.

Yeah, I got the impression that he stepped out of the DO because he wanted to prove he could face the Elite on his own and isn't going to let this go.
The beatdown angle could go either way as a write-off for a few weeks, or something to fire Hangman up. If it was a write-off, I think the belt shot would have made him bleed though.

I don’t know for sure if it’s a write off. It was a brutal beat down but Moxley got worse beat downs and he came back at least in two weeks. We still have a long way to go for All Out and the story is starting to get even hotter.

I feel much safer with my wager after this week.
Hangman wanted to prove he could do this on his own and didn't wanna burden Dark Order anymore. I hope Dark Order honoring his wish shows Hangman he has true friends who are willing to stick by whatever decision he makes.
Dark Order are facing Good Brothers next week. I feel like there's a chance they win those titles and start a bit of a downturn of Elite's dominance and leave Young Bucks open to lose to someone like PNP.
Christian's gonna help even the odds I feel. Maybe Jurassic Express get involved too. Eventually Christian loses at First Dance and then when it feels like no one is left? It'll be Hangman. And the story will climax. That's my thinking.

I’ve been very vocal they are not doing the Hangman at All Out - but I gotta be honest - this booking is baffling. Consider me thoroughly intrigued. My money is still on Punk being Kenny’s opponent at the PPV but I really have no idea.

I feel like Mox got his ass kicked in Inner Circle group beat downs like three times during the Jericho feud and he ended up winning the belt at Revolution as the ultimate revenge.

AEW's booking isn't perfect, but I think even its biggest detractors would admit that the company has always had its finger on the pulse of its fanbase. With everything that happened tonight (and not to mention how on the nose BTE was), not delivering Hangman/Kenny at All Out would be WWE-esque willful contempt for its own fans.
I just don't see AEW doing that, I really don't. So I'm doubling down on being for Hangman winning the title at All Out.

AEW usually is pretty safe on where things are going, but I don’t know what’s going to happen next in this story and I love it. We’ve got 8 more shows to get to All Out, so it’s gonna be a roller coaster to say the least.

The fans would accept that.

The problem with guessing Punk fighting for the title is that they’ve been really laying it on thick with Darby pretty much all but saying he wants to fight Punk.
