Unbelievably, Derby fans seem to be in favour of him buying the club. I know things are desperate for them at the moment, but have they seen the mess Newcastle have been for the last decade? Choice between punch in the face and bullet in the head. At least they'd still exist, man's after naked profit, needs to get them in decent enough shape to sell down the line. And f*** Kurt Zouma.

West Ham put in a "I promise we're actually trying" bid for Raphinia and Phillips from Leeds. I don't know why the hell we'd sell them though when we'd have no chance of buying replacements and it would doom us to relegation £50m for phillips isn't too bad, £50m for raphinha is a joke despite getting him for £17m As a season ticket holder, with constant injuries (no time frame on bamfords return), lack of signings (our only jan transfer, sitting on the bench for U23s) and teams around us doing business, also Bielsas willingness to play Tyler Roberts, and not selling him. I think may will be very nerve racking as a leeds fan 😐

Zouma starts for West Ham tonight. Words fail me. Honestly, the only thing close to being as bad was what Zouma was caught doing was the police saying they weren’t going to investigate, which was why he’s in the lineup. Like…what else do you need?!

The Club World Cup should revert to being a one off match between the European and South American champions.

Wasn't really expecting that Spurs result, I'll take it though.

Martinelli's double yellow card is one of the daftest decisions I've ever seen.

Martinelli's double yellow card is one of the daftest decisions I've ever seen. I think in isolation you can argue both incidents could be worthy of a yellow card. I do think it was harsh to give him a yellow for each. Would he have made the second challenge if he knew he was going to be booked for both? Probably not, I think it would have been more fair to give him one yellow & a very stern talking to.

Probably not, I think it would have been more fair to give him one yellow & a very stern talking to. I agree that in complete isolation, both incidents could be construed as a yellow card offence, and Martinelli certainly wouldn't have committed the second foul if he thought the first warranted a booking, and I personally think the first offence was a harsh yellow in any event. The issue going forward is that now the referee has set a precedent, he's drawn a line in the sand that now says that they cannot use common sense to make any sort of decision at all. I'd obviously be more furious at the decision had we conceded before the end but for once, they dug in and held on for a vital win which renders the sending off minimal.

Chelsea finally buy every trophy available in club football. stop that now then, after last nights excitement with a totally squashed ball, it's time for a proper shaped pigs bladder ... and it's the scottish cup! dundee goes through after a 3-0 win over peterhead and head into the last 8 of the competition and the draw was drum rolls Heart of Midlothian v St Mirren Dundee United v Celtic Dundee v Rangers Motherwell v Hibernian yep the city of dundee will get a visit from the "hard men" teams of glasgow st mirren will fancy themselves over the hearts and the last one and they play four days before my 52nd birthday so you can work it out when then bring me cake!

Genuinely impressed with how easily Rangers put down Dortmund in their own back yard.
