Becky pinning Ronda in a botched crucifix pin.
Even if it wasn’t a botch, that’s not how you end the biggest show of the year.

Bayley vs Alexa Bliss Extreme Rules --- Bayley suddenly decided she can't use a weapon, she promptly gets destroyed by weapon she can't use and loses

Final Battle 2008, Aries vs. Black. Tyler Black was red-hot coming out of the Age of the Fall storyline, and you can already see that he was the future of the business. It was ROH's first live PPV show, and they decided to do a 60-minute draw that lead directly into a shmozz finish where two totally unrelated tag teams brawled to the ring and Austin Aries got into a fight with a fan because he's Austin Aries. Just a total cluster that killed any momentum that the company had at the time.

Nobody in particular, but a common finish in the late '70s was a wrestler picking up his opponent for a bodyslam. Opponent wiggles his legs, making protagonist fall backwards and get pinned.
I hate that finish.

WCW Uncensored 95. Hogan vs Vader, Strap Match. A "retired" Flair dressed in drag, no I'm not joking, interferes on Vader's behalf and Hogan drags, no pun intended, Flair to all 4 corners and is declared the winner. I was 14 at the time and absolutely hated Hogan. Still do to this day. I was a huge Vader fan and I was absolutely livid watching this bullshit at home.

The best part about The Fiend vs. Seth Rollins Hell in a Cell's ending was how predictable it was because WWE tweeted out this poll.
As soon as anyone saw that, you knew they were going to do the option that didn't belong. And yes, I'm aware that the official ruling is ref stoppage, but they even did that in a way that conjured up the image of Seth being DQed.

Not necessarily a finish, but Kevin Nash vs New Blood gauntlet with coverless pinfalls.

On some Saturday Night's Main Event, there was a 2/3 falls match for the tag team titles. The faces won one of the first two falls by DQ. They then went on to win the third fall but it was announced that since the earlier fall was decided by a DQ, the titles wouldn't change hands which begged the question...why did they even keep fighting? Why didn't anyone know the rules? Why were those the rules in the first place?

You know a finish sucks when it's so ridiculous, Vince changes the rules so it doesn't happen again.

Triple H lost a beat the clock challenge because if he hit an interfering opponent apparently Triple H would get DQ'd. So he just stood there for like 5 seconds until he lost.

Triple H hits a Pedigree and takes upwards to a minute to crawl over in order to pin Booker for a 3 count.

I remember thinking the finish to HHH vs. CM Punk at Night of Champions was really f***ing stupid and overbooked.

You know a finish sucks when it's so ridiculous, Vince changes the rules so it doesn't happen again. On a similar note, there was a triple threat tag team match on a 1998 Raw where the rules were that two guys would be in the ring at once and they could tag any of the four guys on the apron. At one point, both of the New Age Outlaws got tagged into the match. They acted like they were going to fight, then one laid down and the other pinned him to win and retain the titles. Sometime later, Jim Ross announced that the rules had been changed because of what the Outlaws did.

Ambrose losing due to a tv set exploding as he prepared to hit Wyatt with it I remember being incredibly pissed at that finish. I used to participate in an offsite prediction contest, and that was the only month I had every prediction correct going into that main event. Finishes, interference, everything. Would've won an Amazon gift card, if not for that stupidity.

Summerslam 93
Booking Luger to win by CO was bad enough, but then to celebrate it was idiotic.

John Cena getting DDTed on concrete only to pin Gabriel and submit Barrett in quick fashion before celebrating like nothing happened.

Herb Abram's UWF Blackjack Brawl had a double count-out between Cactus Jack and Jimmy Snuka in a lumberjack match.
