This does illistruate one thing I did notice he does seem considerably smaller than he was... not that he was huge to begin with. But he still looks in great shape. .. and I doubt he'd sign or agree to do any of this shit if he felt like his body wasn't in any shape to compete And I mean... I'm really no one to complain about peoples physique either ... >_> <_< Even though he was never a body guy, there definitely was pressure on him to bulk up in WWE. Probably contributed to him getting so banged up in the first place.

If y'all have time, hit up Twitter, and just look at all of the footage from people who were there. It's awesome to hear the reaction from people who were in the thick of it. If I wasn't old and didn't understand how these things work I'd start sharing some.

By the way, that ill-fated UFC run sure did a number on his popularity, didn’t it?

I got charged twice for a shirt and no email confirmation. I'm gonna cry in the shower.

What I love most about that moment is that it's just a sea of arms not only catching him, but embracing him. Like it was equal parts he jumped in and as he did they wrapped their arms around him mid-flight and didn't let go. He leapt into a massive bear hug from a human hydra. That kinda love is awesome.

Excellent promo, positive and heartfelt. Just seeing how happy he was from that is a big plus.
Really going to be interesting to see what he does in AEW.

You might laugh, but it's true. The biggest pop I ever heard live was when I went to see Disney on Ice. When Olaf the snowman came out, every little kid in that building went absolutely nuclear. I've never seen anything like it. I said to my partner "If Elvis, Jesus & Dwayne Johnson all came out, they wouldn't get a reaction like this".
CM Punk may have equalled Olaf.

OFFICIALLY over 300K Tweets for AEW. As of this post it's at 302K
CM Punk is at 194K and nearing 200K
Essentially half a million tweets combined between both trends.
WWE and Roman really should have kept quiet about who isn't a draw or who isn't popular anymore...

The Biggest pop I've been in the audience for was Triple H returning from his quad injury... I have no idea how long it went on but there were a lot of similarities as I saw in the audience tonight as with people literally just being so full of emotion they just started like crying... it was a surreal experience then and it must have been like that tonight.

That makes sense given how private a person he is, that the culture of AEW re: leaks is much more palatable to him than WWE's was.

God, how I loved this. Tony is so fricken giddy and his awkward self throughout it. They’ve got this cool dorky-little-brother and chill, older, doesn’t give-a f*** older brother vibe. I marked every time they’d point to the other to give the other props. Punk devouring the ice cream bar had me in stitches. It is surprising to hear he hasn’t been training wrestling-wise per-say but judging from Tony’s reaction, he’s in great shape and what Punk said about his “bump card” makes sense. It’s so refreshing to get the vibe Punks in an incredibly chill place. His ego seems parked at the door. Really seems like he’s there to give back. And holy shit, I had no idea Garcia was only 22. No wonder they’re keen on him.
