So something I'm still confused about and maybe they did explain it and I missed it but {Spoiler}{SPOILER:} Why did Kingpin give Hawkeye the info to kill echo's dad? If it was Kazi the 2nd in command to her father then I'd get the reasoning behind it, dad dies he takes over. But it seems like both he and Kingpin were in on it. And it didn't seem like he was looking to betray Kingpin, so why do it?

Maybe the tracksuits were Echos dad crew so in a power struggle they would side with him. But Kazi is loyal to Fisk so they have Echos dad taken out, Kazi takes over the tracksuits so now Fisk is sure of his power base.

Her father might have done something to anger Kingpin in the same vein as Elenore to cause him to want him taken out.

Ok, finished the episode, some random thoughts - {Spoiler}{Spoiler}I really have a hard time believing this is the same Kingpin from the Netflix shows. This Kingpin is much more colorful and flamboyant then his constantly brooding Netflix counterpart. And Vanessa would never let him leave the house in that white suit/white hat/Hawaiian shirt/cane combo. It could just be character growth, but it feels like too much of a departure. Plus he seemed to have super-powers, which I don't remember Netflix Kingpin having.
And yes, I hope Maya killed him dead dead dead and he never comes back. Now we can have a proper Daredevil story where he's in San Francisco dating Heather Glenn and battling time-traveling robot assassins like Daredevil is supposed to!
They didn't ruin the episode or anything, but I could've done without the LARPer's. It was a joke that wasn't all that funny to begin with that outstayed its welcome.
Jack is still the greatest thing ever. I hope he returns in more projects. It doesn't even have to be a superhero show, give the character a variety show or something on Disney+.
So they just destroyed the Ronin suit on a BBQ? I would think Clint would've been genre savvy enough to make it fire-resistant in the first place. Did he really think none of the mobsters he was hunting were gonna have flamethrowers?

As for the outfit, it's a nod to one he had in the "Family Business" comic, which seems appropriate for the show. Still, I think Marvel Studios are taking a diplomatic approach to the Marvel Entertainment-produced shows. They won't directly acknowledge their existence, but they won'y go out of their way to retcon them. Even Laura being revealed at Agent 19 doesn't affect Agents of SHIELD as Bobbi Morse never went by Agent 19 in the show.

Do you really wanna toss a few steaks on there after burning a dirty leather costume on it? And it seemed like a damn nice grill, plus it looked like he had a PitBoss on his porch too so maybe Clint is a BBQ master. Which, would make sense for the world best archer to appreciate high quality BBQing. I’m baked and I’m hungry, so second viewing of this I really focussed in on the bitchin’ BBQ setup the Barton’s have

The grill they burned the outfit on was by the barn so maybe that was an old one they were going to throw out anyway.

Did he really think none of the mobsters he was hunting were gonna have flamethrowers? {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} I suspect if they do another season Jack will be there. I had my suspicions and confirmed them that he's the MCU version of the character Swordsman. However, I doubt we'll ever see him in costume or adopt that identity.
{Spoiler}
{Spoiler} I suspect this version of Kingpin is closer to the comics version, that entire getup is lifted straight from his traditional comics look. That said he's always been portrayed as quite strong. Despite looking fat he actually has very low body fat and the rest is solid muscle which makes him quite durable and upper end of non-super human strength.

Also, you’re right it was a Big Green Egg not a PitBoss on the porch, mixed up the grills I wish I had while I BBQ on my $200 WalMart special haha
Speaking of SHIELD, sure feels like no one is acknowledging Laura Barton’s watch.

I had a blast with the last episode. Hawkeye has been one of my favourite characters for a long time and I enjoyed this. I think the pacing and story were tighter than Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} The chemistry between Kate and Yelena was fantastic and I hope to see more of it.

{Spoiler}
Kate came off a bit sanctimonious with her mum. Like, yeah, she did bad things, but only cos her hero dad was in with the scum to begin with.
That better not have been the end of Kingpin. I'm guessing not, but still.
I give 0 shits about Echo. I'll likely watch the show anyway, but I don't care about her story or the character at all.
Nice Mockingbird/Agent 19 Easter Egg. Hope we get a Hawkingbird reference at some point if this comes back for s02. Good series over all. Enjoyed most of it.

{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Kingpin is obviously still alive. First rule of comic movies: If you don't see the body then they survived.
The Roger musical was legitimately one of the funniest things I've seen all year. it was hilarious.
Yelena needs to be in all the things. she's this adorable badass with a terrible Russian accent who's also very polite to the people she doesn't need to kill. Put her in anything and everything.

Another D+ Marvel show once again snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. This one hurts.
