"On Her Majesty's Secret Service" is underappreciated and the hate on George Lazenby is undeserved, he was easily an equal to Connery as Bond. I don't think that is as unpopular as it would've been years ago, in fact...I agree with you. OHMSS has consistently been considered one of the best Bond films for years now. Going back to the 90s it was appearing in the top 3 or 5 of “Best Bond” lists. (And it’s my favourite of the series too). I don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion but I see a lot more complaint about it than praise…. The Mandarin reveal in Iron Man 3 is a thing of genius and one of the greatest moments of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Lord of the Rings trilogy is only good as a cure for insomnia Agreed. Not seen Return of the King but seen both of the others multiple times and while impressive productions visually they're incredibly boring and you could easily consolidate the trilogy down to two movies because virtually nothing happens for most of the runtime.

I like a lot of Adam Sandler's movies, granted he's done really terrible films (Jack and Jill, Ridiculous 6 etc)
I would rather have watched a Tony Scott movie then a Ridley Scott movie
I find Home Alone 2 a bad movie except for Tim Curry, because he's well... Tim Curry
I've never liked a Sofia Coppola film, they have all left me feeling cold
Cary Elwes just from trying to do the claw is funnier than anything Jim Carrey does in Liar, Liar
I would sooner watch a triple bill of Body Slam, No Holds Barred and Ready To Rumble than The Wrestler

I remember so many people (wrestling fans especially) being hot over that, but I felt Penn was really impressive.

Add me as one who liked Shrek 2 the best. Jennifer Saunders is a national treasure.
Spielberg/Lucas wise, ROTJ and ToD were not bad.
P.S. Ewoks were fine.
I guess more people came around to it, but Halloween III was also a great movie and I'd be on board with the anthology idea.
Joker is fine but didn't need to have DCisms shoehorned into it. It would still be fine as a movie about any other murdering clown.
The Fields is worth watching just for Cloris Leachman.

Not sure how popular this is but Grandpa Joe from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is just the worst. Yes. Because we all know Dino Bravo was the worst.

There are people who say Speed Racer is underrated, these people are stupid and wrong Speed Racer is a secret masterpiece. As secret as Racer X being Speed's older brother Rex who ran away from home years ago.

The character who died at the end of 'Logan' should not have died.

liking Shrek 2 more than 1 is not an unpopular opinion. It's widely regarded as one of the greatest animated features of all time and may actually straight up be the best sequel ever made.
Saying you like Shrek 3 on the other hand...you'd be a contrarian liar but, yeah, that's unpopular opinion.

I like a lot of Adam Sandler's movies, granted he's done really terrible films (Jack and Jill, Ridiculous 6 etc) Imo, this shouldn’t even be an unpopular movie opinion. A whole generation grew up on the guy and his movies are usually either extremely quoatable and leave an impression on you or at the very least harmless and inoffensive. I feel like people who hate on him, take their movie viewing a bit too seriously.

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull gets so much heat for both the fridge scene (for how no way Indy would have survived) and the aliens (for being stupid) yet the rest of the franchise has a mystical face melting box, Indy surviving falling out of a plane in an inflatable boat onto solid ice and snow, mystical voodoo priests, a man surviving his heart being ripped out and the holy grail
I don’t get it
I’m not saying it’s a good film as it’s eh whatever but Temple of Doom isn’t any better (I’d argue it’s worse because of Willy & Shortround) yet it never gets ragged on as much

I don't think it's much of an unpopular opinion anymore but The Cable Guy was damn funny.

It’s enough superhero movies now. It’s way more than enough. Release a movie that isn’t about some dumbass comic book character and maybe I can watch a movie again.

Ralph Bakshi made a much much better version of Lord Of The Rings than what Peter Jackson did.
and on the subject of Bakshi, his Fritz The Cat was 10 times better than the comic strip version of the character.

The fact that Entourage was more or less a 2 hour episode of the series, is what made it great.

The Star Wars prequels, while flawed, are actually great movies and tell an excellent story.
The Matrix sequels were great.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was a very fun movie and a worthwhile alternate adaptation of the book.
Friday the 13th (the original) is just so boring.
Super Troopers was okay at best.
None of the Saw movies are any good.

More movie awards boards should give voice acting better consideration. I thought Andy Serkis in the Apes trilogy and Bradley Cooper as Rocket deserved some trophies.
I actually remember hearing people pushing for the Academy to nominate Andy Serkis for an acting nomination after War for the Planet of the Apes came out, even though they admitted that it wouldn't happen.
