If this were the case, wouldn’t it have been REALLY noticeable on camera? Like, 1,500 out of 8,000 is not far off a quarter of the crowd. There’d have been patches of empty seats everywhere. Devils Advocate; They could have been on the non-hard camera side. I remember being at a Raw, Can't recall the year but it was a while back during the super Cena era. During the entrances many people in the nose bleed, myself included, headed for the door.

During the entrances many people in the nose bleed, myself included, headed for the door. There’s a couple of photos floating around showing the hard camera side, one from the match before the Charlotte/Bliss promo and one from the main event: Now, it IS very patchy on that side (and that whole matter is a separate topic) but it looks just about the same either side of this promo. Logically speaking, if fans were leaving to such an extent of nearly one out of every five in attendance, they wouldn’t just be leaving from one section, they’d be leaving from all over the arena. And those on that hard camera side of the arena would have been corralled to the other side to fill those gaps up and make it look good on TV, and the hard camera side would be close to empty by the time of the main event.

Hearsay isn’t journalism. Everybody is saying that, I've heard a lot of people say that, believe me.

With Alexa, its like "Oh look how CRAZY this girl who acts like a 7 year old is! And by the way, that doll has a mind of its own and everyone has to pretend to be scared of it! And she can hypnotise her opponents but somehow she can't win every match and every title for some reason!" Not to mention what bothers me the most about her character, it's that she's already an accomplished wrestler, a multi-time champion, and she completely forgot everything she knew about wrestling when she got possessed. What the actual crap.

He is a journalist for a garbage industry. One built on lies and deceiving an audience they openly show contempt for. And their contempt for the audience is nothing compared to their contempt for anyone who reports on their activities. So lots of the reporting will be hearsay because someone who was their in the audience is more reliable than any other source. I'm sorry, but this is the biggest, most mind-numbing stretch to justify Meltzer's hearsay "journalism" I think I've ever read. Yeah and you are obviously just one of those types who want to use any excuse to hang Meltzer. Get over it.

His fanboys just make it a lot worse.

I have a very, very hard time believing people left especially with that main event promised earlier in the show. It's not like Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe at Backlash in NJ where people were leaving to beat the traffic.

Meltzer rambling on his radio show with Alvarez or whoever isn't him in journalist mode. He's just a fan with a platform talking about what he hears without the obligations or standards of journalism. If he wrote this in the newsletter, yeah, it's definitely something to nail him on.

What the actual crap. Yep. She is basically dressing up as Harley Quinn and being "crazy hot" for the sake of it. I found it funny last night when she was talking to Charlotte about originality. I don't know who wrote that line but it made her look f***ing terrible considering her entire shtick is stolen from Bray Wyatt and her entire look is stolen from Harley Quinn. Charlotte basically no-selling this act also made others like Doudrop and Shayna look bad too because according to Charlotte, Alexa is just "trying to be something she's not"... So why were those other women terrified of her and her stupid doll then? She either IS scary or she's not.

Somehow if Lily was in AEW or the TokyoDome 1500 people wouldn't suddenly be leaving the arena.

I can believe thousands run to the bathroom and concessions during these Alexa and doll segments, but I don't for a second believe they are actually leaving the arena.

I heard Alexa Bliss went into an arena and made everyone in the arena leave and they had to close the arena.

I heard Alexa Bliss went into an arena and made everyone in the arena leave and they had to close the arena. And then Alexa and Lily were making babies and one of the babies looked at me.

But that Charlotte and Alexa segment was actually good and grounded in reality.

You can argue the number if you want but there were clearly a lot of empty seats visible on the side facing the hard cam which they almost always take care of by moving seats around before the show.
