Do they even have wwe content on Tubi?
If not, it just makes them look hella petty because they're not even compensating for the missing content.

Peakcock has the exclusive streaming rights so I doubt it. If there is anything WWE related on there it is gonna be some random assortment of WWE studios movies....like that one Brodus Clay starred in but no one knows exsists lol.

I never understand when people feel the need to defend big business. Just because they can do something, doesn't mean they should be able to. We get nothing from big business putting their foot on the necks of smaller businesses. Sure businesses do this all the time, but businesses used to also be able to work people untold hours in unsafe conditions until one day they couldn't. Just because businesses could work a child in a factory or whatever, didn't mean they should be able to. Yes, those are extreme examples but it's puts certain things to light. Rules can change and sometimes should. WWE are assholes for doing this and F them. Sorry but I cannot stand when they do something like this or release people during a pandemic (during record revenues) and people feel the need to defend them. What has WWE done to deserve such fierce loyalty?

So defend your corporate masters so you can be like them one day.
Of course it almost never happens and the overwhelming majority of people are one bad day closer to being broke and homeless than being millionaires (much less billionaires).

100% accurate. The ruling rich class and big business has convinced America that they'll all be rich one day too. It's really baffling how stupid people are.

Just a little chiming in on the big business talk it is in large part why the world is pretty well burning right now(big biz,big pharma etc)...but there are pockets of growing people finally waking up which is not enough to change things on a societal level yet but movements are happening and it is good to see IMO.
But to the topic at hand WWE trying to be bully again even though they have nothing on Tubi and their exclusive streaming rights are with a rival network anyways so WWE trying to throw their weight around is hilarious but also baffles me as to why FOX would even be phased unless WWE threatened them with like we will take SD to another network when we have to reup the tv deal but even then that is a far stupider move from WWE's end.

WWE also has a deal with Hulu, who gets the new Raw and Smackdown episodes before Peacock and WWE Network. Hulu is also the reason why 205 Live episodes go up on Peacock 2 weeks late.

Yeh all other big companies in wrestling dont do it,but WWE does it even when you said they would. It is what is I guess and people shouldnt accept it. Apathy leads to people being exploited

I thought I read WWE wanted a partnership with MLW where they'd carry their shows in a section on the Network?

I thought the news about MLW was their 'Forbidden Door, we can play nice too' move Yes there were rumors going around that MLW and WWE were in discussion and I believe the idea was basically to turn MLW into their OVW that would have talents work their way from there to NXT or atleast something like it....so developmental for their developmental.

Doesnt make it okay, people should speak up every time a business does something like this. It's a publically traded company...The entire thing revolves around money. Millions of people are affected by what they do and don't do. Obviously, they would make decisions to benefit themselves. Yeah, but sometimes it's just better to let competition happen than kill it. Cause it will force you to do better. And it's not like Vince is suddenly going to run out of ivory backscratchers anytime soon with all of those recent TV and streaming deals. However, this being America, corporations actually prefer monopolies, or at least oligopolies where they are the dominant entity.

Anything to back that claim up at all? AEW wants to work with the world. it may surprise you to discover WWE is run by scumbags All of those deals that AEW makes are extremely advantageous to them and they’ve come out on top of every single one. They play nice under the guise of “helping others out” but make no mistake who’s the one under the heel when it’s all said and done. If there ever comes a day where Impact is on the come up and is competing for tv slots, it won’t be the same game. No one is running a charity. Also who was even taaaaalking about AEW? Look, I agree the AEW/Impact deal has heavily favored AEW since they have zero interest in, you know, actually having Impact wrestlers besides those two bum f***s ever appear on AEW programming and have made Impact talent look like complete bitches (looking at you, Rich Swann, you big failure!), and I say that as a guy who effectively decided to avoid going to the AEW section anymore cause the brand royally pisses me off over every little thing. But at least it's something designed to get people interested in another brand, which Impact was willing to accept. In WWE's case, all WWE wants is WWE to be the only wrestling in town. I know some people will view it in a capitalist sense or even defend WWE as a noble good, but... how does that benefit anyone besides WWE? Hell, how does that even benefit WWE? We've seen over 20 years now the company without major competition, and they just decide to be fat and lazy, constantly reminding people that, at two isolated points in history, there was interest.

I mean, MLW is right. They aren't gonna win, but still.
