I agree 100%!! Especially in the long skirt. I always thought they got rid of her long skirt and high heeled boots because she did that spinning heel kick to Lita at Survivor Series 2000 and caused Lita to start bleeding at the mouth. It also wasn't very practical to have her wrestling in long skirt and and high heeled boots. That's why they switched her to the pants and the short boots. Now, I'll be 100% here and I may lose some acquaintances on here, but I did LOVE Ivory's late 2000-early 2001 Women's Championship run. She brought some normalcy and class back to the title. I was with my boyfriend at the time (and drinking underage) at some guy named Marty's (who was wayyyyy too old be hanging out with people who had just graduated high school) house the night that Ivory won the Women's Championship due to interference from Edge & Christian and I stood up and cheered Ivory's win. I did have an absolute nasty hangover the next day. Did this Marty try to jump through a window?

The angle Lawler pitched to Vince (since the creative team was mixed on it) was for her to seduce Val, Bull and Goodfather and then do some big reveal at the end with her seducing Richards and exposing him as the ultimate hypocrite. Tazz took Lawler's spot at Wrestlemania in the tag match. I read somewhere that she was supposed to seduce Val, then Ivory, then Stevie.

I think part of it also was that, the skirt worked for when they wanted to do stuff like have the Hardyz on house shows hold her up for a suplex and have her skirt fall and expose her granny panties, but yeah, hurting Lita meant they phased it out for matches, outside of stuff like when Chyna stripped her.

He did punch a window while drunk off his gourd one night because his ex-girlfriend took his dog. That was right before I went off to my second semester of college and I never saw him again.

I must acknowledge how great Ivory looked in RTC. Between her and Lilith Sternin, there were a lot of people learning something unexpected about their personal tastes in women.

Thought about starting a new thread, but it kind of fits into this thread since Kat was forced to join.
I genuinely wonder if the RTC could have ever been more than just a silly shot at the PTC. For what it was worth, I always felt like everyone played their role pretty well, mostly Richards and Ivory, but it was still kind of shocking to otherwise see characters like Godfather and Venis completely flip their moral compass (if you want to call it that) and proceed to basically get sucked into a cult.
Not that I see it as some kind of major angle, but I wonder how big RTC could have been had it become more of a fixture?
Al Snow Billy Gunn (he already changed to 'the One') Hardcore Holly stops being 'Hardcore' Gangrel, no more blood Mideon aka Naked Man Rikishi...kind of in the same vein as Mideon The Dudleys...I know they faked joining, but it would be interesting if they went the full effect
You could get Jerry Lawler as a member, as an announcer.
What started out as this little goof group, becomes a straight up cult takeover, and provides a legitimate concern over who gets brainwashed next, and how far will this go?

Oh, so we DID see The Kat the next night after No Way Out 2001? I wasn't even paying attention to that. Most of what I remember from the very next night on Raw was Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley & William Regal vs. Trish Stratus & Mr. McMahon. I was a huge Steph fan back then. I think Kurt Angle was whining most of the night because he had lost his championship. He was then placed in a weird match with The Rock and The Big Show for the Hardcore Championship. That match was so bizarre. I am wondering the same about Lawler and The Kat regarding RTC. It just seems like that whole Kat & Lawler feud with them was swept under the rug. IIRC, didn't RTC break up the night after Wrestlemania X-7? Vince: “OK RTC, I want you to glare with disdain at Kat, go!” Bull Buchanan: “DUHHHHHHHHH”

Bull was just such an absolute waste of a paycheck. It shows how talented John Cena was to escape his loser wrath early on his career. I'm sure it was Bull and Bossman teaming that destroyed Bossman for the fans. Everyone else in the RTC group was over at some point but Bull. Obviously a Jim Ross "hoss" hire. The guy had five gimmick changes in WWF/E and never showed any amount of talent ever with any one of those gimmicks. Absolutely no ability to connect with fans. I'll just never get why Vince allowed him to be employed for so long. To be positive, Ivory, Godfather, Val, Stevie and Kat at one time or another shows their various talents.

I remember in Rewriting The Book they played a huge role in "Who Ran Over Austin" where they helped orchestrate his hiatus and take down the WWF. I would've liked to see them be used more as a serious threat that needed to be stopped before it became too late.

When they were on TV I was a kid and had no idea who the PTC were and the gimmick worked fine for me. They had immense amounts of heat. Honestly could have run it longer, during the AE especially the feuds write themselves Edit: they could have kept going into the InVasion but been rejected by the WWF team because they suck but also rejected by the Alliance because they suck, and then the few faces in the Alliance could get big pops for kicking the shit out of them

Here's a wild one...what if the catalyst to Stone Cold turning heel, was that he actually joined RTC?
Again, it would take a lot of work, but I think it provides a good opportunity once he turned face again.

All fear the school-marm of doom. As for Kat, yeah she was pretty useless and Jerry quitting in protest of her firing only for her to cheat on him immediately will never not be funny to me I think in a shoot interview, Ivory stated that Kat cheated on him with some brothers or something and King knew about it. I am not even sure who those brothers were. LOL. It was one of the Dupps. Poor King quit his job for her only to get hit with divorce papers soon after.

I'm kinda glad this topic is still being talked about, tbh. The AE was sort of weird, especially the tail end of it right before the "Invasion" angle. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread. I also can't believe The Kat lasted as long as she did. It was what...18 months? Her most memorable feud was with Terri, though Terri lasted WAY longer and had less wrestling skill lol.
