Anything to avoid hiring people who are passionate about pro wrestling. Who cares. If they turn out good then who cares.

The Cavinder Twins might be money if they become good workers. If they pick this up at all, WWE should offer them deals asap. They could be stars if they’re even halfway competent in the ring. And a built in social media fan base. These girls are gonna be stars regardless what they do, WWE be smart to keep in VERY close contact with them. Yeah, they're the 2 everybody is calling the big get from this. Big social media presence, athletic, and young, it's a really smart move for WWE to make a move for them. They should wind up in the WNBA, but you keep the door open and WWE could probably offer more money.

NIL is also the amount of effort they'll put into booking these rookies outside of a new horrible name and random gear.

The NIL thing is gross and exploitative but really no more so than college sports in general but its the tiniest incremental step to being less gross and exploitative that people will point to for decades as why we can't make it better.
edit: The Cavinder twins are already famous enough that I'm not sure why they'd bother with a NXT contract if they work out. They'd be getting so many brand sponsorships for their instagram and tiktoks that they'd be crazy to give up.

'Okay, so here's the offer, we'll pay you minimum wage as inexperienced trainees with no guarantee of a main roster slot, and we'll be able to drop you with 30 days notice at any point and you'll have no Legal recourse if you were dropped for a BS reason. In exchange, we want you to take hundreds, if not thousands of bumps before you make the main show as well as give up your social media and sponsorships to the company so we get the majority of the benefit of your work!"

My parents, they smartened me up. They said there is no money to be made in amateur wrestling.
But you know where the real money is? NXT

I mean, the question isn’t “will they come good?”, the question is “will they make themselves an actual viable option and not build a bad rep that their representatives or parents will tell them to avoid when the time comes?”
Because if they keep this idea that you’ll only get a six month contract to show something and then they’ll cut you for these NIL graduates? Yeah, that’s just not a risk many people are going to take unless they’re really passionate.
Like, the Cavinder twins seem like they could walk into the WNBA in a couple of years and help grow what is a growing sports brand rather than take a bunch of bumps and hope for the best.

Oh they're going to absolutely sign a bunch of them to contracts even if they probably don't have it, it's important for something like this to hit the ground running so that it looks like a viable option.

That’s what I expect to happen, yeah. It might come off as “unfair” but if you have a bad program like this, it’ll spread. So they need to be going full on to getting the people they want to get and taking their time in training them to the level they want them to be. They can’t be throwing them on TV the first chance they get.

You can't just pigeon hole them into one category. A lot of the best wrestlers had an athletic background like Austin and Rock. Heck, Hogan was a body building bass player, that's just nutty
