Of this lineup, which shows would you have watched? Bear in mind you can only watch one show at a time, so you may have to sacrifice a show airing at the same time.

As for me, Superfriends on ABC, then I'd watch the various Looney Tunes shows on CBS, go to NBC, sit through Gary Coleman, and end it with Spidey/Hulk.

By 82 we had two vcrs in the house. So I would watch NBC and record ABC in the living room on the VHS vcr and record CBS in my bedroom on the old Betamax.

What was a bigger SatAM buzzkill:
The end credits to ABC Weekend Special/American Bandstand/etc?
Or....
When CBS's "We will return after these messages" animations became "And now these messages"?

As a 90s kid.... cartoons got really good comparatively didn't they 82 was a lesser year for Saturday Morning cartoons, Smurfs and Spidey notwithstanding. By 83 we would be getting Alvin and the Chipmunks and Dungeons and Dragons, and later that decade, Muppet Babies, Garfield and Friends, Real Ghostbusters, and some more underrated stuff like Ruby Spears Superman, Ed Grimley, and Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures.

Gilligan’s Planet seems so dire. I don’t think there was any real good cartoons based on live action shows,l. Except for Star Trek: Ten Animated Series.
