And since covid hit, the few shows he's done has been with plexiglass and with every show he does for years it's an assistant hands him the fan item, he signs it, someone else gives it back to the fan-little to no interaction. I'm certainly no fan of Shatner, and his bare minimum approach to autograph signings is pretty well-established at this point, but aren't plexiglass screens the norm for conventions now? And probably for the best, given his age?

Heel Alan Rickman knocks it out the park every time. His face roles are solid, but there’s not as much fun. He was an awesome face in Dogma. Also, Christopher McDonald plays an excellent heel.

I would love to see a film with The Rock as a bad guy.
I think every film he's been a hero, right?

I would love to see a film with The Rock as a bad guy. I think every film he's been a hero, right? Doom, Get Smart, and Pain & Gain are his only decidedly non-heroic movie roles I can think of. Black Adam could go either way, but it's probably fair to assume he'll be playing that character as more of an antihero.

I saw him at Comic Con, last month. He seemed to enjoy himself, and was far from rude. Any interactions I'd heard from people meeting him, were very nice. I think you are the "exception" rather than the rule. He is "ignore fan" at all costs, do the bare minimum from everything I've read during my almost 30 years of autograph collecting. And since covid hit, the few shows he's done has been with plexiglass and with every show he does for years it's an assistant hands him the fan item, he signs it, someone else gives it back to the fan-little to no interaction. The man doesn't care and of course, there have been issues with him with Leonard Nimoy and George Takei, two "salt of the earth" type men among others and it's all William himself. The guy is an absolute jerk. I am the exception to the rule too, Shatner was nice and engaging with me, I've met 100s of actors/wrestlers and I've met worse then him.

Tim Curry as a villain. Same goes for Joe Pesci. I think one of Tim Curry's best roles was Rendon Howe of Dragon Age: Origins. As even at his most villanous, Curry usually has that hammy, love-to-hate charm, but not in this case. He played Rowe as a truly hateful, spiteful bastard. Curry had a role on Criminal Minds that made him one of the creepiest and scariest villains on the show, which is saying something about a show featuring FBI agents chasing serial killers.

Kind of hard for me to think of Tom Hanks as a bad guy. Even in A league of their own. He eventually made Jimmy Dugan a loving character

Tim Curry as a villain. Same goes for Joe Pesci. If My Cousin Vinny taught us anything. It's that Joe Pesci can play a face by acting the exact same way as he does while playing a heel.

I'm certainly no fan of Shatner, and his bare minimum approach to autograph signings is pretty well-established at this point, but aren't plexiglass screens the norm for conventions now? And probably for the best, given his age? The bigger shows do a plexiglass for pro photos but most are no plexi, no mask unless it's the celebrity's choice. I guess with William's age it is necessary but certainly makes what little he does with the fans even worse. Nevertheless, everything I've seen him in is always as the "heel" and I think it's a typecast thing because those who did the casting knew/know how he is. I will say, the funniest fan encounter I heard about is a guy, from markedout.com board, asking him on the street to sign his photo with William from a show. Of course, he didn't want to but the fan told him he could personalize. The fans name, by coincidence, was William. Shatner signed "To William" and then started walking off. Wouldn't even sign his name until the fan begged him.

Wasn't the Scorpion King a villain originally? Yes, the second Mummy film. That one barely counts, since the only time the character is an out-and-out villain it's... this:

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a tweener at best in any role.

Heres mine, Christopher Lee - heel, Sigourney Weaver - face.
