Bret Hart vs The Barbarian
(Barbarian wasn't even at Survivor Series but they still promoted this match on the Superstars episode in-between)

Technically, and I forget which event it was at, but there was an advertised Rollins/Ambrose match that just turned into a night-long fight segment IIRC.

Oh, another one (even if this was the one that had Raw beat Nitro for the first time in a long time)
Monday Night Raw: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Vince McMahon.
Match didn't happen when Foley as Dude Love strutted into the scene.

To be fair, that was part of the angle, while the other ones being mentioned weren't

This Tuesday in Texas Bret Hart vs The Barbarian (Barbarian wasn't even at Survivor Series but they still promoted this match on the Superstars episode in-between) To that end, the final match of Survivor Series 1991, with Jake being removed from the match, Macho being reinstated, and Jake v. Macho being added to This Tuesday in Texas.

Didn't they advertise Roman v Goldberg even after Roman pulled out?

To be fair, that was part of the angle, while the other ones being mentioned weren't So was HHH v Rock v Austin (Who ran over Austin) and Belair v Banks (Becky Returns) But the original plans for both of those matches are the match advertised was gonna happen. But injuries and whatever the deal with banks was happened. All along the hhh vs perfect match was supposed to be a swerve

Didn't they advertise Roman v Goldberg even after Roman pulled out? I believe they switched it up on TV once they knew about it. That was when Triple H said they had a really creative way for changing the match which just ended up being Cole randomly announcing that Braun would be taking on Goldberg.

This Tuesday in Texas Bret Hart vs The Barbarian (Barbarian wasn't even at Survivor Series but they still promoted this match on the Superstars episode in-between) That's one I never knew about or at least don't remember. I always thought Skinner was the intended opponent. Was there any word on why Barbarian was replaced? He was in the Rumble a few weeks later so he hadn't yet left WWF.

Didn't they advertise a Sasha Banks match for a PPV this year until like, the literal last minute despite her having to pull out of it for reasons that still aren't entirely clear?
