Taz on Dynamite is a lot better than Ross. I think AEW should use Ross as a special attraction announcer (PPV's, big TV shows) and have Taz as the regular.

I think he really gained his footing back by doing Dark with Excalibur, since that's more PWG style commentary where it's way more laid back, further inside, and they're not afraid of telling jokes and making each other laugh while still putting the action over. His style is definitely more content driven on Dynamite and Rampage, but you can tell he's way more comfortable and is just enjoying himself. Listening to his Unrestricted a while back made me realize how lucky AEW is to have him on board and it looks like he's there for the long haul, and I couldn't be happier.

Yeah, Taz really did have a mini-Schiavone period where his TNA run was so bad, he was judged because of it (which, I mean, fair, he half assed a lot and nowhere near as consistently good as he is now) and didn’t have the MLW renaissance before the AEW signing where people weren’t exactly welcoming him with open arms. But he’s basically shown himself to be one of the best things, for me, about AEW period.
