Something that is surprising to me looking at these lists is how many people still went to theaters for films that were available simultaneously on streaming services. In many cases those streaming services were charging a premium for them. If you had a family it was worth it but if you're solo, paying $25 to watch something on a streaming service you already subscribe to feels like a ripoff.
There is also something about the atmosphere of a cinema. Most of the time I'm happy to wait and stay home but the big event movies like Marvel's stuff, I like to see in the cinema first. The times that I went this year they were less than half full and no one was sitting near me.

0 times.
Bunch of things I wanted to see but I wasn't going to risk my health in the middle of a pandemic to see them.

37, gonna see a couple more while I’m off this week. I abuse the hell out of my Regal Unlimited card.

Once for Black Widow.
I saw a couple films at a convention screening, but that technically wasn't a theater.

Once, The Suicide Squad.
Covid was seeming settled then, cinema looked empty, then people started coming in and I had people directly to the front, back and left of me. Even then didn't feel safe, then with the recent developments..
Which sucks I really want to see Spider-Man but they're not letting it out for streaming.

0. I only occasionally go to the theater though. The last time I went was to see 1917 and the time before that was The Revenant.
