Yeah Christmas stuff shouldn’t be taken down until after New Years Day. Then I feel you have from then till MLK Day at the latest to take it down. After that might as well leave it up all year.

My general rule is the weekend after New Years. And it is a multi day process. Day one: take down the tree and put it away/dispose of it, take down all indoor decorations and put the in attic. Day two: take down lawn decorations, pack them in their boxes, and put them in attic. Day three: take the lights off the cacti in the front yard (Dangerous), take the lights off the house and roof, pack them all up and put them in attic.

I think it's okay to leave them up until new year's day or a day or two after.

I never put them up to begin with. Yeah, January 6th is VERY specific... Yeah, had to do a double take at that. Well, The feast of the epiphany is technically the last day of the 12 days of Christmas. Just noticed someone else said it. Oops

Put it up last night, but usually around New Year’s Day or so.

I just got done taking my kids trick or treating at people's houses who haven't taken their Halloween decorations down. That will teach 'em.

When I decorated we had them down by Jan 2nd or so.
Last few years only stuff that gets put out is on the mantle above the fireplace. I took all that down the day after Xmas.

You can’t take down what you don’t put up. That’s been my approach for a few years now.
