For any reason! Any! f***ing boring, weird, or just totally trashy I don't care. Give me yr most uncomfortable shoots you can remember.
I've been wanting to make a thread about this for months after watching bits of the New Jack vs. Balls Mahoney duel shoot interview from around 2012 I wanna say and being blown away the fact that it was ever filmed and released. It's literally like an extra uncomfortable episode of Intervention with New Jack and Balls screaming at eachother for like an hour and a half about how f***ed up Balls' life was at that point. Genuine evil content.

The worst one I've seen is Hannibal's interview of Bill Irwin...extremely unprofessional on both sides and, while Wild Bill was clearly drunk, Hannibal seemed to lose his cool unnecessarily quickly.
Of course, given everything that's gone on with Hannibal recently his behavior is even more uncomfortable in retrospect.

We’ve had our fun with them but a lot of the Iron Sheik & Billy Jack Haynes shoots are pretty exploitative

What does anyone think of Manny Fernandez shoots?
I've listened to him a little but I get this vibe that he's about as reliable as a broken clock.

Terry Gordy's RF Shoot which is as far as I know Gordy's only shoot. It was done after Gordy's overdose and basically his only answer to every question is "it was good... it was all good."
Example, Tell us about working with the Von Erich's
Gordy: it was good... it was all good.
Tell us about working with the Steiners
Gordy: it was good... it was all good.
Tell us about working with the Undertaker
Gordy: it was good... it was all good.
It's 2 hours of disappointing nothing from a guy that had a fascinating story to tell. It shouldn't have been released, but this is RF we're talking about here.

Terry Gordy's was really bad. Poor guy came off like he was brain dead. Just really sad and uncomfortable to watch. I know it's hard to take his Hannibal's side on anything right now with his recent behavior but at the time I didn't blame him at all with him lashing out at Irwin like that. The guy shows up drunk to the interview and then has the gall to get an attitude over a very normal and simple question. I think in that case Hannibal was justified in giving it back and ending the interview.

While not the worst, I did get a chuckle out of New Jack's shoot interview about Terri. The things he said about her may have been true, but damn, he dogged her out. I think that was the worst character assassination.

I forget if it was RF or someone else, but there was a Vader shoot that was a precursor to bad ASMR. Vader was speaking like he had a baby in his lap he was trying to not wake up. Easily one of the most difficult ones to hear I've ever attempted to watch.
Whichever shoot it was with Raven and Kevin Sullivan where the latter fell asleep for long portions was objectively not good, but it was at least kind of funny. Total ripoff to people who bought it wanting Sullivan's takes on things, though, and I guess a demonstration of Raven's love and patience for Kevin to not get annoyed about it. That, or just a testament to how much Raven likes the sound of his own voice. (Not a knock, mind you, Raven freely admits to having an ego.)
There's of course the legendary shoot where Sandman cannot remember anything about his own career, while his son seems to keenly remember every single moment of it and quickly fills in details every time Sandman falters and stumbles. That's oddly sweet, I guess, did give off the impression his son was quite a fan, or maybe he's just got photographic memory?

That Jamie Dundee interview(s?) were he was drunk, getting undressed/visibly making the guy interviewing him uncomfortable and then he started dropping the N word.

I haven't seen the full thing, but the one where Honky Tonk Man makes fun of Bret for having a stroke.

Not an interview but How about Jeff Jarrett’s shoot promo from 1997 that caused the crowd to be completely bored and caused him more harm than good?

I bought three on sale from ROH for two dollars a pop. They were RF shoots of One Man Gang, Mike Rotunda, and Brad Armstrong. Despite so much travel and time in the big leagues, sooooooo boring. I was surprised that Armstrong's was terrible, as he had a reputation as a funny guy.

Just an all-around train wreck of an interview and I definitely think it fits the bill for this thread.

I've seen Gang's and thought it was really good which is no surprise as he's always a really good interview.

Though the story of driving the Iron Sheik to buy beer was fun.

I guess I thought maybe it would be interesting since he did kind of have an interesting career in that he spent a lot of time in both companies and had a lot of different gimmicks.

That Jamie Dundee interview(s?) were he was drunk, getting undressed/visibly making the guy interviewing him uncomfortable and then he started dropping the N word. Every Jamie Dundee interview is like that too. I think he’s done several with Wolfie D, but I know at least one Wolfie D looked incredibly uncomfortable. At one point Dundee is doing something like bragging about how big Wolfie’s D actually is and he literally starts grabbing at Wolfie’s D to show the camera. Sometime later the interviewer asks about a PG13 reunion and Wolfie just gives a death glare.

Not an interview but How about Jeff Jarrett’s shoot promo from 1997 that caused the crowd to be completely bored and caused him more harm than good? I love Jeff Jarrett’s My World podcast, but one criticism I have is how Conrad very obviously has to put on kid gloves when talking about parts of Jeff Jarrett’s career. Like Jarrett is fine with Conrad shitting on some things. Perhaps the best example of this is the reoccurring joking of whether Jarrett was a Horseman. Yet, even as someone who liked a decent chunk of Jarrett’s career I have to admit it. A lot of it just wasn’t very good and even some of the things he boasts about most proudly were forgettable. When Conrad and Jeff talked about the shoot they both kind of agreed that it was a little long winded but generally effective. Yet, for a while and now even in this very thread it would always get mentioned when discussing worst worked shoots. It seemed to take the life out of the Raw it was on and Jarrett came off like a bozo (not in a good way, in a “go away and don’t come back” way). Of course to play Devil’s advocate with my own point the Jarretts are such world class carnies Jeff may have actually convinced Conrad it was a good promo despite the taping showing otherwise.

While most of the Ring of Honor Straight Shootin' DVDs are very good, the Butch Reed one is notably awful but not for any of the questions or the responses. Rather, either an air conditioners or room heater is on and is too close to the camera drowning out the conversation. It's unlistenable, even at maximum volume. Chuck and Trent's shoot interview with Teddy Hart is just f***ing ghastly, especially in wake of what's come out about Teddy's alleged (but also actual) involvement with trafficking and abuse. I've heard from a few people when they tell Chuck and Trent they've seen it, they sincerely apologize for it and feel guilty for being associated with it and it getting released. Hart brings up rape allegations about him out of nowhere and talks about them in a way that makes him sound guiltier the more they go on. Plus, at the very end he pull Chasyn Rance into it on-camera and it's just awful. I remember at the time people were hyping it as "you gotta see how kwayzy Teddy Hart is these days" but it quickly goes from "this guy is eccentric" to "this person is a legitimate itmate danger to everyone he encounters." Then, whether it's a worked shoot or his actual beliefs, there's the Brian Kendrick conspiracy theories shoot where he ascribes to holocaust denial and some real proto-QAnon insanity. Whether he really believed the ideas presented or not, he's giving hatred a platform and making money from it. Brad Armstrong's Ring of Honor Straight Shooting shoot DVD is a lot of fun and probably more of what you're looking for. RF just happens to suck at interviews. Steve Corino's "Old School" shoot with One Man Gang I'd put in the top three or so shoots of the past five years. Really makes Gang out to be the biggest wrestling fan to ever get into wrestling and it's pretty heartwarming how he'd recognize regional heroes from his youth on the ring crew in various towns.

The only good ROH shoots are the ones that Cornette does and even those have mic issues at times.
I'll just say Hannibal's in general are terrible. If you haven't seen his with Billy Graham, don't bother, but if you feel you must, you'll come away with a dirty feeling and actually somewhat feel bad for Billy Graham. What an odd feeling.
