Now this mania was kind of a busy, especially considering both Stone cold and taker were both out. Now what if they stayed healthy? I’d hope they wouldn’t do Stone cold vs the rock too early, mania 17 was perfect for that. I think they should of done Rock vs HHH, maybe Show vs Stone cold? Idk about taker

No Mick Foley in the 4 way. Taker depends on the gimmick he would be using. Maybe him and Kane instead of Rikishi.

Rock/Austin/HHH in the triple threat we never got at Survivor Series.
Taker vs Mick Foley one last time in Foley's retirement match. Make it a gimmick match like Last Man Standing.

I mean, it's hard to say, because it depends on if Austin or Taker miss any TV time whatsoever. If Austin does miss a few months, then the Survivor Series triple threat happening here makes sense. As for Taker, they seemed to be building towards a conflict with Vince, so maybe they'd have a match? And Foley stays retired after No Way Out, I guess. Just because there is no match I'd want to see him in with the available roster. As for Big Show, I have no idea what he'd do.

Triple H/Stone Cold/Rock main event
Taker/Big Show, possibly with some horrible gimmick

Taker / Big Show split i would've guessed happened around Mania - a conclusion to the Unholy Alliance storyline/tag team Rumour was to turn Austin Heel in run up to Mania and have the Rock win the title at 16

Didn't Big Show have to be in the main event due to a contract demand?

this is the ultimate what if - they were big time players in 2000
there's no way Mick Foley or Big Show is in the main event of WrestleMania 16 if Austin or Taker is there
guessing the main event of 16 would be Austin vs Rock vs Triple H
thinking either Taker vs Big Show for WrestleMania or Kane and Taker vs Road Dogg and X-Pac
if it's Kane and Taker vs Road Dogg and X-Pac that means Rikishi has to be moved in the card
maybe stick Rikishi in the hardcore battle royal and have him win the belt

Didn't Big Show have to be in the main event due to a contract demand? He gets a special main event against the debuting Kiss Demon

Didn't Big Show have to be in the main event due to a contract demand? That has always been the claim. So whatever happened Big Show would likely still be the main event.

Triple H/Stone Cold/Rock main event Taker/Big Show, possibly with some horrible gimmick A Hell in the Cell match that ends up worse than the WM15 cell match.

I think it was more likely Vince just wanted a return on his investment. Big Show jumped to WWF in large part because he was paid kind of shabbily in WCW due to being a scouted rookie, I guess, but, along with butting heads with Bischoff and being put in a difficult position a lot of times as someone that was basically Hogan's eyes and ears when he wasn't around, not endearing him to people, he also decided to leave in no small part due to finding out Curt Hennig to paid way more than him. I know Curt was a veteran, but in WCW he... was making the company a whole lot less money than Giant was, to be blunt. Of course, Big Show had a lot of issues getting over with people early in his WWF run, like Madison Square Garden treating him with more or less contempt even when he was a face, but Vince was still trying to keep forcing it. It did eventually work, I think especially when they realized he was a rare breed that can actually make wrestling comedy funny, but it was a grind. I'm sure Vince and Undertaker, who was trying to mentor him early on, would have wanted to do something big with him. Just kind of hard to picture what it'd be.

I mean the Austin would of been a part of that triple threat still. He’s working from survivor series to mania, maybe taking small breaks at times
