Between this and Betty White's passing why is 2021 deciding to go out as hard as possible?

Personally speaking I just don't know why Big Swole had to say anything. Cody Rhodes solved racism by putting his penis inside a black woman at some stage in late 2020, meaning we solved minorities. We solved them. They're done. Racism is over.

Swole made some really good points that didn't come from a place of malice or bitterness. It was constructive. Critical, but constructive.
And then Tony makes a complete ass of himself with that tweet.

That’s the kind of response tweet I’d expect from another billionaire who had been involved in wrestling. You know what's sadder? Something I just thought about? That other billionaire doesn't tweet on his own nor is he part of the "social media generation" so anything negative from him similar to this we'd get in interviews or from comments from others. There's pros and cons. Not saying he's as bad as that other guy but he's got a flaw that other guy doesn't have and that's the fact he uses social media.

Wait, Swole was friends with Tessa and let her say the N word? Btw MJF also retweeted Khans tweet. Swole can still be right about certain things in the company that could use tweaking and improvement and also be an imperfect person, as yes, that is not a good look if it's true. But we can also say this whole situation is stupid and Khan didnt help with his response either.

Britt Baker retweeting that is very telling about her. I know in the past she made a comment during an interview like she didn't understand what the fan complaints about the women's division actually were (not enough of them getting airtime or storylines, as opposed to Baker thinking we didn't think the women were talented enough).

Yep. Tony's pissed off some people it seems. Well we're gonna get change whether Tony likes it or not by the sound of things. Might as well have this happen now so you can literally go into 2022 with a fresher state of mind and direction, at least I would hope that's what this leads to Probably need to have a talent meeting to work things over the next time they're all together, even then it's 2021 so like, get a Zoom call together. You think there needs to be change now?

If Vince used social media, I'd expect it to actually be more comical in the sense it's a mid 70s man trying to figure out how it works, rather than getting into arguments. Though Vince getting into social media arguments with random fans sounds REALLY funny lol

Britt retweeting it is almost more disappointing than TK's tweet itself. Anyone who follows the Jaguars or Fulham knows he lashes out at criticism so that's not surprising. I'd have hoped there'd be more of an honor among thieves type thing in the locker room though and no one from top star to jobber would be publicly clapping along as their billionaire boss berates an employee who just left.
If only Vince used Twitter. We could be living in the alternate timeline where Charlotte Flair is retweeting him saying that he let Toni Storm go because she sucked.
Hopefully he's drunk because if he's level headed and tweeted that, damn. We're mere hours away from a new year. He should be reflecting on what a great year the company had but now this is probably going to snowball and dominate news for days. He should have just ignored it and it would have been quickly forgotten about. WWE has a PPV tomorrow. I'm sure they'll do some dumb shit that wrestling fans will turn their attentions and the Swole interview would be literally last years news.

You think there needs to be change now? I never said there shouldn't be improvement on the POC front. I said there should be talent working into the main event as they continued to sign more great POC talent to the roster and more potentially on the horizon. Khan doesn't need to upend his entire main event scene for it either, but he definitely sped up the process of his own volition with a tweet like that. Probably the dumbest way you can end a year given all the momentum and good will you've built up.

So we have Britt Baker and MJF retweeting Tony's comments...seems like there's a trend here. Both people who were pushed from the jump and yet they don't see any issue. Sounds like if Trips liked an interview from Vince where he said there's no booking issues when he was getting pushed over everybody back in the early 00s.
