Or bored silence. One of the two.

Poor AJ.

The brief AJ Styles chant at the start just slowly getting quiet was pretty sad. I feel like they had AJ with Omos so long it's hurt his general overness, he's just felt like such a nonentity for a long while and now got squashed by Omos pretty much. Oh and obligatory:

I still think it was a huge mistake to do NOTHING with AJ being the guy that had THE UNDERTAKER'S LAST MATCH even if he lost that match. He just came back a few weeks later after being buried alive like "well anyways moving on" and had some Undertaker retro color scheme gear once or twice.

As I said in the thread, I dont know if AJ will ever leave WWE at this stage... but they are sure giving him plenty of reasons to...
Omos just has nothing going for him other than being TALL, and Corey Graves commentary trying to sell him and the match was extremely hilarious and well worth hearing by itself...

I thought they had a solid pairing with AJ playing the goofball while Omos was the straightman and his enforcer. Then somebody decided the focus should be on THE TALL MAN who can't actually work. Like, it was inevitable the team would eventually break up, but I think we all thought Omos would have more going for him than TALL by the time it happened.

If AJ Styles can't carry you & make you look at least decent, there's a big problem.

Yeah, AJ and Omos were really entertaining together for a while. I was happy when they squashed New Day at WM. It just ran its course like every other good thing and now it's time for AJ to move on.

I mean, if you want to get someone over this is the best way to do it and AJ can and will survive it
6 months from now it will be like it never happened with AJ getting his W's back multiple times by then

Vince trying to book like it’s 1987. He refuses to learn that you cannot JUST be big anymore. You need to be able to do something.
Also AJ is consistently over. People don’t want to see him used like this.

I saw this video on Facebook that showed the everyday perspective of a seven foot tall guy and it's ridiculous.
How Big Show managed to become as a good of a worker as he did despite being so much bigger than all but a handful of people he worked with is mind-boggling. It would essentially be like wrestling children.

People don’t want to see him used like this. Did that even actually work in 1987? I haven't dug into the era a lot, but like, any huge dude from the era that people talk about today still had something else going on, even if it was just a good costume or a catchphrase. Size was a minimum requirement a lot of the time, but I don't get the sense that it was ever a guarantee of success.

It's just difficult in that, yeah, this is obviously an accolade for Omos, but fans are just pretty indifferent to the guy. I feel a little bad for him, I'm sure he's doing his best, but he's just lacking. Maybe a good manager would help him out, but as it stands, even if he's maybe the best bet between Shanky, Azeez, and himself, that's a bit like being the world's heaviest feather.

I am sure this was the plan from jump and AJ being the guy he is, is saying cool I rather see it through and try to help him get over Problem is, Omos just isn't good. AJ made that man shine like a Diamond and credit to WWE for booking him to his strengths for a long time but he has no real upward trajectory. His best bet is to be put back in a team but his best role is to just be an enforcer for someone. Worst come to worst they probably put him with Azeez and Apollo

It's just a terrible sign that Omos has gotten signature wins over Riddle and AJ and the crowd does not care about him at all. Like few guys get consistently clean wins over established names like he has and it hasn't meant anything so far.
