The product now, f*** dude, if I have to see one more f******, don’t get me wrong I’m looking forward to seeing what will be different this time, but if I have to see Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns one more frickin’ time, you know? They’ll do the same pay-per-view back to back. It’s always like New Day/Usos like every frickin’ card. Like, I understand that their roster isn’t as deep as it was a year ago. They’ve cut I think 86 wrestlers from their roster this past calendar year. So yeah, you don’t have this rich variety that you might have had before, but even then, man, it’s like how many times can we watch the same match over again?” “I came up with some great Bray Wyatt story angles all alone in my room when I was touring in Paris, man. They called me up for consultation kind of stuff, you know, ‘what do you think will make the brand better?’ I think they might have done one or two things and I’m like ‘hey!’ I’m not saying I came up with it or nothing, but at the same time I was like ‘oh, there you go!’ I’m just like ‘hey, why don’t we make the show slightly different, because, just one’s blue and one’s red’. God bless, Kevin Dunn, but you know ‘no, no, no, this is our product.’ He’s really good at what he does, far be it for me to be criticizing anything that he’s saying, I’m just saying ‘well, can we do something that’s just visually different?’ ,things like that.” “There were times when I wanted to write for WWE. Like, kind of just, you know, find six months of my life at the very least to kind of go in there and stuff. You know, I will say I do kind of regret not doing that. Now that I’m a Dad and stuff like that, I ain’t got time. Man, I’ve barely got time to pee at this point. Do you know what I mean? I never just got round to it, there was always something. Next thing I know I’m on the road being in a pizza band or something!” Source: www.iheart.com/podcast/1119-wrestling-with-freddie-89045423/

The big thing I got from this was that apparently WWE was trying to get every successful former child actor to consult on their shows?
Do they still call Jonathan Taylor Thomas for consultancy ideas after his appearance at WrestleMania 13?

WWE is nothing but a group of star f***ers, TBH. If Richard Karn of Home Improvement liked WWE, they'd be calling him for ideas.

I mean, Richard Karn knew to backtrack from NFTs quickly so he might be too good for them.

Damn, you know they've lost their senses when they won't listen to the guy who created plans to stop the Wet Bandits when he was 8 years old. He's a genius.

Prinze Jr. was a full-time member of the writing team for quite a bit of time, in two different stints.

I’m excited to find out what period of time they looked to the Olsen Twins to consult on the women’s division. Was it before or after Two of a Kind?

That little runt as Gorilla would say. His idea probably involved Bray being practically murdered by an array of horrific yet inventive booby traps strewn across the ring. Micro machines, tar, paint tins and icy stairs included.
Despite life threatening injuries, Bray would still be about to win until Old Man Marley makes a run in and hits him in the face with a shovel.

I think Vince just contacts whoever he liked seeing on TV recently. Next week it will be a heroic dog.

He’s right though, feuds used to end at the PPV but now they have the same match on weekly TV then have that same match on next 3+ PPVs. It’s unreal how much they drive it to the ground.

He (and his siblings) have been massive wrestling fans for a long time.
Also, he’s right about the repetitiveness.

I can vouch that the Culkins are huge wrestling fans. When I worked at the Virgin Megastore 2008-2009 in NYC, Kieran would come in all the time and we'd shoot the shit about rasslin'. He and his brothers would fly to see every pay-per-view and watch it in person at the time. I remember him telling me that the show where Big Show debuted the WMD, there was absolutely no acknowledgment to the live crowd why the match suddenly landed after he landed a punch.
He's also a huge, huge, huuuuuuuge Goldust fan and was actively trying to get him voted to appear at Taboo Tuesday.
Really good dude in my experience.
