They’ve both been gone now for about a cup of coffee & I was curious who people miss more, if either of them.
I definitely miss one more than the other.

I think Kenny mainly because he's one of my favorite workers and I felt like there was so much left for him to do when he had to take time off. But obviously it's close, Moxley is a hell of a talent. I can't wait for him to come back.

I love Kenny, but nearly a year of him being the focus he needed a TV break. Also I was really looking forward to heel Mox.

Kenny was too everywhere in 2021 for me to say I really missed him. He needed this break and it came at a narratively satisfying time. Moxley just got yoinked out of a tournament, and there's a distinct something missing without him because of that.

Both, but Kenny more. I think Mox would've been in the Bryan Danielson spot against Hangman if he was around. Mox should be back soon. Kenny probably around Double or Nothing

Moxley, because of the massive "what-if" story surrounding him. If he didn't take time off, he probably beats Orange Cassidy and faces Danielson at Full Gear. Does he win, or do we still get the Danielson run we got in real life? What would the Moxley/Hangman feud have looked like? I can't see them doing a Broadway finish with Moxley, so where does the story go? And what does Danielson do during this time? Probably not the heelish character we've gotten. And would Eddie have feuded with 2Point0 and Garcia if Mox was around and a heel? I just can't see it.

There was a certain feeling of hype anytime Kenny wrestled on Dynamite that I missed.

I find it hard to say I miss Mox because although I do, knowing the reason he's out, makes it different. I can miss someone for being out injured like Kenny is, but someone who's out for rehab or mental health issues is better sorting than out than wrestling. Mox has been doing what's best for Mox, as he should.
So I wouldn't say I miss Mox, but I would say I'm eager for him to be in the position to come back.
If this makes any sense at all...

I love both, but Kenny's higher on my favorite wrestler list. His matches in New Japan helped save my wrestling fandom at a time when my interest in wrestling as a whole was practically dead.
Then again, Kenny is at least active on social media so he's around even if he's not on the shows. Moxley not really being around there even before his personal demons got in the way makes his absence feel more real.

Moxley for me. From a character standpoint, personality-wise Moxley's one of the most original in the entire company so he's the one I miss more. Not that Kenny isn't, it's just that his personality isn't as different as a Moxley if you feel me. I'm more excited about what Mox is gonna do right now than Omega.
Also I just realized this...
When did yall go from instantly calling him Mox compared to Ambrose? I'm not sure when the change happened with me but it's like "hey man that's Mox" in my vocabulary now lol. Initially I was having an issue but now it's seemless.

I'd say neither because honestly I'm worried that either of them might come back too early. Also, vacancies at the top tend to freshen up a show. It's not like AEW is lacking in star power to cover the gap.

Honestly? Kinda neither.
Let them rest up and get in good condition until we get the next guy past Hangman on top (unless Hangman is gonna have a long reign).

I've found it was easier for me to call Miro "Miro" rather than "Rusev" compared to calling Moxley "Moxley" instead of "Ambrose." Maybe it's the fact that Miro's just better than Rusev in just about every way to a far greater level than Moxley compared to Ambrose but yeah.

I found myself calling him "Mox" or "Moxley" pretty quick because it just rolls off the tongue better than "Ambrose." I don't think I could do that with Seth Rollins if he ever left WWE and started being Tyler Black again (which I'm guessing he would as he references the name in his wrestling school he runs with a former tag partner of his: The Black and Brave Wrestling Academy). Bryan Danielson's WWE name being a reversal of his real name (and his wrestling name outside WWE) makes it real easy to just call him "Bryan" and people know who you're talking about. Though it's fun to call him AmDrag again, too.
Miro was also pretty easy for me to call him "Miro" because that's the name he streamed with on Twitch and elsewhere even when he was Rusev in WWE.

Neither. Both had a huge presence for a long time. And the roster is huge. I barely miss anyone that has to take time off.

Not Kenny. He was stale af. And he will probably be the same when he comes back, so the more time off the better.

Both of their absences are heavily felt, but I’ll say Kenny just because I love how much of a maniacal bad guy he can be. It’s different from Jay White just being a bastard or Roman’s smugness, he comes off like an old school heel champion who’s praised for his skill, but he’s also kind of cracked. I get the vibe from his character if Don Callis wasn’t backing him he’d be more of a Ryusuke Taguchi-style eccentric.

I guess I'm rooting for Mox more than missing him, but I guess I'd say Mox. I want him to come back clean, focused and ready to kill.
