I know some people will roll their eyes when a product is mentioned by name in a show, but usually it’s better than “generic or made up name” to cover up the real product, so I usually don’t mind it.
The only time I was like “this is so a commercial” was during Bones. There was a few episodes where they’re randomly talking about their car and all the special features it has. I mean, the actual, make model, and year.
Also, I forgot what show it was, I think Bones again, and they’re so hard to trying to push Bing instead of google for their search engine. I mean, it’s weird enough they’re using Bing and you can see it on their computer screen, but I’m pretty sure someone said “use bing” or “let me look it up on Bing”.

When Fringe was on the cancellation bubble in its later seasons, they had some real doozy scenes of product placement. Like showing a specific car self parking and commenting on it, some insta credit card thing, stuff like that.

30 Rock did it really obviously on purpose:
But in terms of actually trying to get away with it, this one from Hawaii Five-0 takes some beating:

Subway endorsements saved Chuck.
Ford Focus had a deal with Smallville that was pretty blatant.
Also the new Knight Rider in 2008. The TV movie had a Ford commercial with Michael and Kitt every break.

The earlier Michael Bay Transformers movie could only use GM cars for their vehicle modes, no?

When my wife watches the 69 new Christmas Movies that Hallmark Channel makes every year, I swear to god every of those movies will have at least a solid dozen plus awkward as hell forced shots focusing on some bullshit Christmas ornaments/trees/hot chocolate dispenser/candy dildos/whatever by ... I think it's Balsam Hill? Once you know what you are looking for they are everywhere. I swear a solid 40% of the runtime of those shit movies is them clubbing you over the head and screaming "BUY OUR CHRISTMAS SHIT"
Another 40% of the runtime is "YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD FOR HAVING A JOB AND LIVING IN A CITY! YOUR ANCESTERS CRY TEARS OF BLOOD BECAUSE YOU ARE A FAILURE. OH BY THE WAY YOU ARE SINGLE, GET MARRIED ALREADY YOU LOSER"
The final 20% is spent pretending like normal non-ceo people just take like 8 week holiday vacations off in the country, were everything is pure and hot young single men that own their own thriving businesses are everywhere.

I'm surprised with how popular Friends is these days that no one has mentioned it. The have a few plot lines based entirely around products: Pottery Barn, Days of Our Lives and Toblerone come to mind. They had tons of subtle placement as well, mostly food, magazines, cars, etc.

Subway on Community. Target on Superstore. I was just going to say Honda on Community. Something I give Community credit for is that they did such a good job weaving the products and advertising into their stories. A great example of a show using product placement, not being used by it. In an episode commentary, the writers were worried that Subway would object to how they were portrayed, but were surprised when the company loved it all.

For a while, Survivor had at least one sponsored reward a season. Most notably, Cagayan and Heroes vs. Villains had a reward to Outback Steakhouse, All-Stars used Home Depot for a reward challenge, and of course, South Pacific had the infamous "Jack and Jill" reward, where the winners got to view a screening of the Adam Sandler movie, complete with fake laughter and Sophie looking pissed off lol
Degrassi aired on Teen Nick, which was sponsored by a lot of teen products. One episode had a character dealing with a zit and her friend goes, "here, use my Zeno", which is an acne cleanser.

Ford Focus had a deal with Smallville that was pretty blatant. Smallville was pretty bad over-all with the product placement. The Stride gum episode in season seven is infamous for how over-the-top blatant it was, but the one I always remember best was season five's "Vengeance", where the story just stops at one point so the guest hero can explain how she's practically blind without her glasses and how grateful she is for Acuvue contact lenses when fighting crime.

That time Hoby tried to cure Mitch Buchanan’s paralysis with the power of Pepsi on Baywatch.
You probably could pick any episode of Baywatch really.

Fox tried to force Burger King into their shows for a period. So, the makers of Arrested Development and American Dad made theirs so obvious it came off as a joke.
